MAT 2017 online registration last date has been extended to May 5 for Paper based exam and to May 6 for computer based exam. For paper based test of MAT 2017 May exam the facility to fill up MAT 2017 application form till May 5 is available only to the candidates opting for Delhi centre. For computer based MAT 2017 May exam the facility of MAT 2017 online registration till May 6 is available to all the candidates opting for any MAT test centre.

Earlier the date of issuance of MAT exam admit card for May MAT 2017 exam was extended by AIMA from April 29 to May 3 but the MAT May admit card has been released prior to the announced extended date.

The passionate letter that Prof Ashish Nanda has released on stepping down from the directorship of IIM Ahmedabad cites the distance from family as one of the key reasons for stepping aside. Prof Nanda has already sent his resignation letter to Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla Chairman BoG, IIM Ahmedabad on April 26 and the resignation has since been accepted. Prof Nanda proposes to relinquish the office on September 1, 2017, one year before his term is over.
