Low Placement at a B-school sure is one of the important key parameters to decide on the MBA programme of the B-school, it cannot be termed as the only criterion that guides to take correct decision. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has been ranked at the 31st position in the 2016 SCM World University 100 survey by SCM World. IIM Bangalore is the only Asian Management school to be ranked in 2016 SCM Ranking. Other universities like University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, INSEAD, University of Texas at Austin, among others have also been ranked in this prestigious survey by SCM World.

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai has already announced that it would offer admission to the flagship MMS 2016-18 programme through Centralized Admission Process to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra for all the participating B-schools in the State. Accordingly, if DTE accepts MAT May 2016 exam scores in its CAP round, it may lead to the admission in JBIMS and other highly ranked B-schools also like SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, PUMBA among others.

I made a serious mistake while applying to B-schools on the basis of my May MAT 2016 scores. Before submitting my application to one of the 330 management institutes that were listed in AIMAs list of participating management institutes, I did not check the AICTE approval and went ahead to apply online. Make sure that you check it and dont recur the mistake as I made.

IIM Nagpur has released the admission offers on May 14 and has fixed May 23, 2016 as the last date to receive the acceptance letter and demand draft for commitment Fee of Rs.50,000/- at the institute. The candidates who have received the provisional admission offers should send confirmation through website latest by today May 20, 2016. The academic session at IIM Nagpur is proposed to commence in the 3rd week of June 2016.

There are 330 business schools offering you admission to MBA/PGDM 2016-18 on the basis of MAT 2016 May exam scores. AIMA has however withdrawn this list of B-schools from its site after declaration of MAT 2016 May result. But the fact remains that neither you would be exploring admission opportunity in all the 330 B-schools nor you would be able to apply in all of them.

Immediately with declaration of MAT 2016 May Result on May 16, the score card was put on the AIMA website. Candidates were supposed to download the score card with their 6 digits Registration Form Number and 9 digits Roll Number from AIMA website.

Apart from this, individual copy of Score Card with photograph has also been sentthrough normal post at the address given on the Registration Form. AIMA declared the result for MAT 2016 May exam 2 weeks ahead of time as the result was supposed to be declared in the last week of May 2016.
