Common Admission Test 2015 will no longer have 2 sections only as the number of sections has been increased to 3 and the Questions on DILR which formed the part of Quant and Verbal sections will have separate identity now.

With effect from CAT 2015, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning will be de-clubbed from their earlier sections and will form a new section comprising 32 DILR questions to be attempted in a time limit of 60 minutes.

The clouds on conduct of CMAT 2016 first test supposed to be held in September 2015 have been cleared by AICTE as the controller of technical and management education in India is going to announce all about the CMAT 2016 (first Test) and will be opening the registration process for the exam in a weeks time. Improving academic diversity in IIM class rooms is the key motive behind introducing big changes in CAT 2015 exam to be held in 1 day 2 sessions on November, 29, 2015 at 650 testing sites in 136 cities. For the first time in the history of CAT, the short descriptive answer questions (Non MCQs) will appear in CAT 2015. Till there is no publication by CAT Centre 2015 for the benefit of aspirants, it may remain difficult to understand the probable pattern and type of these descriptive answer questions (Non MCQs) in CAT 2015.
