Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB) has established Xavier School of Communications (XCOMM) which was inaugurated on July 2, 2015 by Ms. Archita Sahu, a popular actress of Odia film industry. Mr Amitabh Shukla, an award-winning film editor and an alumnus of XIMB, cut the ribbon of Xavier Studios which houses online video set-up, audio studio and the floor. TAPMI commenced its new session for PGDM batch 2015-17 with formal induction programmeheld on June 29 & 30, 2015 at its campus in Manipal. Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and promoter of the Essel Group of Companies was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Announcing that the admission process for proposed IIM Sambalpur would begin in the month of July 2015, the mentor IIM Indore has declared Under the mentorship of IIM Indore, Indian Institute of Management Sampbalpur will start the admission process for the first batch (2015-17) of its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) from July 2015.

XAT 2016 Convener Dr Munish Thakur to address IMC 2015

Convenor of Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Indias second largest MBA entrance test after CAT, Dr Munish Thakur will be addressing IMC 2015 and sharing insights from the test, and changing student behaviour. More than 90,000 students take XAT exam every year, and the scores are used by 100+ B-schools.

Dr Munish Thakur was the convenor of XAT 2015, and will be leading XAT 2016 as well. He is a Fellow of IIM Calcutta and also Chairperson of XLRI Admissions.
