IFIM awarded Best institution in Promoting Industry Academia Interface by ASSOCHAM

IFIM Business School, Bangalore was awarded as the Best Institution for Promoting Industry- Academia Interface at the National Education Excellence Awards 2015, organized by ASSOCHAM India. The award was presented to Dr Madhumita Chatterji, Director- IFIM B School by Prof. Dr. Ram Shankar Katheria, Honble State Minister of HRD, Govt of India. This is the third time when IFIM Business School has won an award in this category, the first one being at the Indian Management Conclave 2014 and the second one being at Asia Education Summit 2015.

IIM Tiruchirappalli sees 100% Placement 2015: IT/ITeS Analytics and BFSI dominate the show

Placement season 2015 at IIM Trichy, one of the six new IIMs, was marked with grand success with 100% placement. 30% of the total job offers came from the IT/ITeS & Analytics followed by 28% from BFSI sector. The industry reinstated its faith in the institute as past recruiters along with new recruiters took part in the placement process 2015.

MAH CET 2015 Result: Important update MBA/MMS admissions put on hold; Court hearing on April 23

With no hearing taking place again in the Bombay High Court on April 21, 2015 on PIL/39/2015 demanding MAH CET 2015 re-exam or judicious application of equi percentile to all the test takers, the hearing date has now been fixed for April 23, 2015 in Court number 53, 2nd floor at 11 AM. It is expected that the Court would also not prefer delaying the matter as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for the MBA/MMS 2015-17 batch has to be started at the earliest.

CAT 2015 Convener IIM Ahmedabad to promote Make in India; introduces compulsory courses

In a bid to promote and contribute to the vision Make in India the CAT 2015 convener Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has changed its PGDM 2015-17 curriculum by introducing compulsory courses in place of electives. Review Committee at IIM Ahmedabad arrived at the decision after consulting all stake holders which included detailed interviews with students, alumni, corporates, faculty at IIMA and other B schools.

MAH CET 2015 Result: DTE unable to present corrective measures; counsel absent on hearing day April 20

In an apparent bid to linger on the process of taking the corrective measures on faulty application of equi percentile methodology in MAH CET 2015 result, the counsel representing Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra chose to remain absent during the hearing on PIL/39/2015 before Bombay High Court on April 20, 2015. The reason of DTE counsel remaining absent on the crucial day was not discolosed by DTE Maharashtra.
