MICAT 2014: Admission Criteria and Test Pattern
Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) conducts separate MBA entrance test MICAT 2014 or MICAs Admission Test 2014. The test is conducted by MICA for the candidates who seek admission to this B-School. However, candidates must have appeared in CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or GMAT. MICAT 2014 will be a combination of subjective and objective exam.
New IIMs Common Admission Process 2014 to reduce burden on candidates
IIM Trichy will be conducting the Common Admission Process (CAP) for the six new IIMs -Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Trichy, Udaipur and Kashipur.For a total of 800 seats, almost 10,000 candidates will be called for the combined Personal Interview and WAT commonly known as Common Admission Process (CAP). The WAT and PI process will start mid-February 2014, and will end mid-March 2014.

XAT 2014 registration not affected by recession: Dr Vishwa Ballabh
XLRI Admission Chairperson Dr Vishwa Ballabh expressed satisfaction with the number of registrations for XAT 2014. While replying to an MBAUniverse.com query he said, However, the number of candidates registered this year is marginally low from last year. Comparing the decline in the number of candidates registered in other similar examinations, it could be inferred that XAT has not been affected by recession.
