IMI New Delhi student bags Rs 29 lakh package

Beating the economic slowdown, an International Management Institute (IMI) student has bagged a whopping package of Rs. 29 Lacs from an International Retail giant in the sales and marketing profile. The average package for the PGDM batch, passing in summer of 2013, stood at Rs. 9.80 Lacs.

The highest salary offered for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM-HR) at IMI stood at Rs. 11.75 lacs while the average package for this stream is Rs. 9 lacs. The average packages for 2013 are better than 2012 packages.

NMIMS NMAT 2014 beats slowdown; gets 58000 test takers

Even as the CAT 2013 numbers dipped to 1.96 lakh test takers, a drop of 10 % against last years registration of 2.14 lakhs, there is no dip in NMIMS NMAT 2014 registration figure. According to NMIMS, the NMAT registrations on October 1, 2013 were approximately 58,000, against last year number of 69,000. There are four days still remaining to register, as the NMAT registrations close on the midnight of October 4.

IIM Indore turns 17; to hold conference on Institution Building

IIM Indore is celebrating its seventeenth foundation day on October 3, 2013 with a conference on the theme of Creating and sustaining institutions- the Indian Experience on October 2 & 3. Many distinguished speakers including Prof T V Rao of IIM Ahmedabad and Prof.

IIM Ahmedabad strengthens the resources of Faculty and BOD

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad the prestigious B-school appointed Prof. Ashish Nanda as new Director of the Institute in September, 2013. 104 Students enrolled in ISBs Business Analytics Course

Indian School of Business launches their Business Analytics Programme for executives at their Hyderabad and Mohali Campuses, in the month of September 2013 with the financial support of Biocon Foundation. The first batch of Business Analytics commenced on September 14, 2013 with one hundred and four students. This one year part-time executive programme will help to generate the data management scientists. The nature of the course is divided into two parts i.e. 66% of the classroom learning and 34% technology based learning.
