The Logical Reasoning (LR) section in Common Admission Test (CAT) carries different types of questions including questions on your direction sense.

XLRI Jamshedpur has announced admission to its different management programme including 2-year full time Business Management (BM) and Human Resources Management (HRM) for academic session 2014-16. The registration process for the same will begin on September 2 and continue till December 21, 2013.

According to the institute, names of shortlisted candidates for admission to its HRM, BM, Global MBA, PGDM (GMP) & FPM will be declared by January 31, 2014.

Critical Reasoning is part and parcel of Logical Reasoning section of CAT. This includes Para-completion which is an important part of critical reasoning questions. Since it is more inclined towards verbal ability, an aspirant with better command over VA will be better equipped to solve such problems. This type of question comes with an incomplete paragraph, leaving the last line, which is required to be opted out of the four alternative concluding statements, given as possible answers, to complete the paragraph in the most appropriate way.

B-school admission 2014 season is here! With the registrations for most of the MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, IIFT Entrance already open, some top B-schools have also announced their admission for the academic year 2014-16.

A few top B-schools have also announced their last date around the beginning of CAT 2013 which is being held from October 16. For example, the last date of application for both Management Development (MDI) Gurgaon and International Management Institute (IMI) is October 15.
