At IIM-A, put together, financial services jobs accounted for almost 45% of jobs accepted. Consulting sector lured a high 31% of IIM-A graduates. Some of the major recruiter from the sector included Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch amongst others. Twelve students choose to join private equity players like Carlyle Group.
At IIM-C, a large 34% of the batch opted for jobs in the financial sector.

JBIMS wins India round of Global Investment Challenge
The competition was held in Mumbai on March 29, 2008.

the Board of Governors of IIM Indore has decided to appoint Prof Tapan Panda, Professor of Marketing at IIM Indore as the officiating Director of the IIM-I. He will take over this position from April 5, 2008 till the appointment of the new director of IIM Indore.
