Over 200 students awarded diplomas at IMI 24th Convocation
Mr K V Kamath, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank was the chief guest on the occasion. Mr R P Goenka, Chairman, IMI awarded the diplomas to over 200 graduating students of its four management programmestwo year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), three year part time PGDM, one year Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDMHR) and one year Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDM-IB).

The book was released by Mr. Kapil Sibal, Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, at a session organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Aspen Institute India.
Harvard Business School celebrates its first century
On April 8, 1908, the Harvard University Board of Overseers approved the establishment of a graduate school of business administration, the first in the world to offer the MBA degree. Described as a great but delicate experiment, HBS started with a full-time faculty of fifteen, a handful of staff, and a student body of fewer than a hundred. The School had no buildings of its own until a gift from New York financier George F. Baker in 1924 enabled the construction of a campus.
