To participate in BITSoM MBA Admission process 2025, you need to apply and appear in CAT 2024, GMAT or GRE exams and apply separately to BITSoM. Step by Step BITSoM Admission Process is as below:
Step-1: Apply for BITSoM Admission 2025
Step-2: Appear in Eligible Entrance Exam (CAT, GMAT, GRE)
Step-3: Check Shortlist which is based on your entrance exam score, Academic profile, Work Experience, Internships (If any), Achievements, Essays and Letter of Recommendation
Step-4: Participate in Personal Interview Round
Step-5: Check Final Admission Offer and Pay Fees
The multidisciplinary curriculum of BITSoM MBA program addresses the needs of an evolving business landscape and offer students an immersive, engaging, and holistic experience. In addition to core courses, all students take a module on ‘Winning at the Workplace’, designed to develop cognitive and behavioral capabilities as well as provide students with global and contextual perspectives with courses such as Ethics in Business, the Origin of Management in India, and Indian Philosophy and Leadership. The curriculum is designed from ground up with inputs from the industry, veterans on BITSoM governing council and academicians. It’s a blend of courses from management, data analytics, emerging technologies, liberal arts and humanities.
The block teaching pedagogy at BITSoM enables focusing on two courses at a time, which helps to internalise learnings. At BITSoM, students get to practice classroom learnings in two corporate and one social LIVE projects. In the second year, students have an option to opt for a two-week immersion at London Business School (LBS). The objective is to experience global perspective on leadership, technology, economics and sustainability.
Right from the inception, BITSoM ensured that its students did not miss the joy of having offline interactions with peers and work on projects in small groups at the hostel facility in Mumbai, while attending faculty sessions online. Many other institutes at that time were conducting online classes.
BITS School of Management MBA Admissions 2025 application process is as below:
- Fill & Submit application online at BITSOM MBA Admissions website
- Application can be submitted without any MBA entrance exam scores
- Submit your preferred test score within the stipulated deadline as prescribed by BITSoM
- The application fee of Rs.1500/- is non refundable
Following key points form the BITSoM eligibility criteria for MBA Admission:
- A recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian institution or international university
- Final Year Students can apply
- Candidates with work experience can apply
- Scores from any one of the following tests – CAT, GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE are accepted
- Exemplary record of academic and extracurricular achievement
- Leadership potential and strong written and verbal communication skills
BITSoM evaluates candidate’s application holistically. While a standardized test score is mandatory, there is no minimum score required by prospective students to go ahead with their applications. There are no sectional cut-offs either.
BITSoM offers scholarships worth Rs. 4 Crore to deserving candidates. For candidates who want to avail scholarships, BITSoM offers three types of scholarships and announces scholarship decisions at the end of admission cycle
- Merit Scholarship: Offered to students on the top of the merit list at the end of admission cycle
- Merit cum Need Scholarship: Offered to meritorious students with a family income of less than Rs.18 lacs per annum
- Women Scholarship: Offered to women on top of the merit list at the end of admission cycle
