PGP-Finance is a two-year full-time masters level program designed to equip students to pursue careers in the financial world in domains such as corporate finance, investment banking, and wealth management. In line with the vision to innovate and excel in business education, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has introduced an innovative Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-Finance) to equip candidates with the necessary skills to lead the growth in the financial services sector.
IIM Kozhikode PGP Finance admission process begins after release of CAT exam result. The admission process is as below:
- All candidates who have opted for IIM Kozhikode in their CAT applications and are fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria would receive an email for online registration for admissions to IIM Kozhikode.
- Only those candidates who have successfully completed the online registration process for IIM Kozhikode are considered for Stage 2 of Shortlisting.
- A shortlist of candidates in each category would be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the performance in CAT, academic performance in Class X & XII, work experience and gender/academic diversity.
- The short-listed candidates will be asked to appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).
- After the conclusion of the PI and WAT process, a category-wise merit list would be prepared based on the candidates' performance in CAT, PI, WAT and resume.
- Admission offers would be made to the candidates following the merit list as per the Government of India reservation norms in April/May

- Register and Apply for CAT Exam
- Opt for IIM Kozhikode on the page mentioning the IIMs and their programmes
- Pay CAT Registration Fee, appear in the exam and wait for result
IIM Kozhikode eligibility criteria for MBA Finance Admission is similar to other the admission criteria of other IIMs with CAT as the mandatory exam. Key points in IIMK eligibility criteria for PGP Finance Admission are:
- Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Appear in CAT exam and must obtain a minimum prescribed sectional and overall percentile score to become eligible for next stage of selection round
- The candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in class 10 and 60% marks in class 12.
- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply
