AICTE CMAT 2016 updated list of institutions creates panic; B schools refuse to accept scores

AICTE has updated the list of institutes using CMAT scores and has made it available on its home page in the alphabetical order state wise. However, many B-schools that are included in the updated list of AICTE, although run the AICTE approved PGDM/MBA programmes have refused to accept CMAT 2016 scores as the shortlisting criterion for final admission process.

MAH MBA CET 2016: Syllabus & Marking scheme out but schedule awaited; know all about the exam

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has announced the syllabus and marking scheme for MAH MBA-CET 2016 exam but has refrained from issuing the notification on the opening of the registration process for the online exam and the exam schedule. So far MAH MBA-CET used to be conducted in the middle of March every year, but in 2016 it appears that DTE Maharashtra proposes to delay the conduct of exam and may conduct it in the month of May 2016 after the admission process in top rated B-schools is over.

Instead of 6 IIMs, there would be 9 IIMs who would participate in Common Admission Process (CAP) 2016 being coordinated by IIM Kashipur. The homepage on IIM Kashipur website says Welcome to the Admission Process of IIM Kashipur/IIM Raipur/IIM Ranchi/IIM Rohtak/ IIM Tiruchirappalli/IIM Udaipur/IIM BodhGaya/IIM Sambalpur/IIM Amritsar. However the remaining 3 new IIMs namely IIM Nagpur, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Visakhapatnam wouldnt participate in CAP 2016.
