IIM Bangalore has announced to launch a new digital learning initiative - Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) based online certificate series - titled Fundamentals of Business Management. This online programme aims to equip learners with basic business and management skills needed to compete in todays business landscape.

The Summer Placement process of PGP 2015-17 (Post Graduate Programme in Management) batch of IIM Trichy has been successfully completed with record breaking figures. Enthusiastic participation shown by the industry has reaffirmed their faith in the students of IIM Trichy.

Lets start with IIMs first. IIM A, IIM B and IIM C will begin their Personal Interview (PI) and Written Abilities Test (WAT) Round from the third week of February. Soon after, IIM L, IIM K and IIM Indore will start their Personal Interview and Written Abilities Test round from the end of February. The overall qualifying CAT cut-off for all these top IIMs was 90%.

SPJIMR, Mumbai has announced wrapping up of another spectacular season of placements for the out-going PGDM Class of 2016. The placement 2016 has witnessed 89 companies queuing up to hire the 226 participants of the Class.

IMI Delhi after announcing the percentile of 90 in CAT 2015 as cut off for flagship PGDM 2016-18 batch proposes to release the programme wise shortlist of candidates. While the PGDM 2016-18 shortlist is to be released tomorrow on February 4, shortlists for other PGDM programmes are proposed to be announced on February 17, 2016.

Making its MICAT exam fully transparent, MICA has declared the scores for MICAT - I, the first entrance exam for the 201618 batch of its flagship programme Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications (PGDMC) on February 2, 2016. The exam takers will be able to access their scores individually at the application portal mica.cqtech.in using their MICA Id.

MICA Ahmedabad is considered as Indias only B-school for Strategic Marketing and Communication. This is the first time MICA has declared the MICAT scores and has also made the detailed selection criteria public.

Opportunity to apply for admission to flagship PGDM 2016-18 programme at IMT Ghaziabad is available for 2 more days only to XAT 2016 scorers while for CAT 2015 takers its stands closed. The shortlisting process is in progress and the next stage of admission round CnPI will begin on February 6, 2016 at IMT Ghaziabad, Nagpur and Hyderabad campuses followed by other cities.

Management Development Institute (MDI), one of Indias finest B-schools, co-organised a unique bootcamp, with SACC (Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce) that provided a bouncing ground for several path-breaking business ideas. The activity was a business idea formation exercise where the participating students from MDI formed 6 teams comprising five-members in each team. These teams were given a theme on which they had to build a scalable idea on the spot.

IIM Raipur has announced to declare the final merit list for PGP 2016-18 on May 9, 2016 after completion of CAP round. Those who have a percentile score of 90 in CAT 2015 with excellent academic background with 90% marks and are non-engineers may get the easy opportunity of admission in IIM Raipur since greater weightage of 30% will be awarded by IIM Raipur to diversity and profile while generating the final admission offers in order of merit. The proposed batch size for PGP 2016-18 at IIM Raipur would be of 140 students.
