Marking success and clearing the fog whether the newest IIM Visakhapatnam first batch students would be accepted by industry, the Summer Placement season for the first batch, PGP class of 2015-17 of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) successfully concluded with 33 companies recruiting all 48 participating students from the batch of 49, while one student opted out to pursue a startup effort. IIM Visakhapatnam is one of the 6 new IIMs that started in 2015 and is currently operating under the faculty mentorship of IIM Bangalore.

Making a swift move to conduct MAH CET 2016 on the fast pace, DTE Maharashtra has announced the exam to be conducted on March 12 and 13, 2016. The registration and application process for MAH CET 2016 opened on February 12 and is proposed to close on February 23, 2016 at 5 PM. The result for the exam is proposed to be declared on March 29, 2016.

AICTE has updated the list of institutes using CMAT scores and has made it available on its home page in the alphabetical order state wise. However, many B-schools that are included in the updated list of AICTE, although run the AICTE approved PGDM/MBA programmes have refused to accept CMAT 2016 scores as the shortlisting criterion for final admission process.

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has announced the syllabus and marking scheme for MAH MBA-CET 2016 exam but has refrained from issuing the notification on the opening of the registration process for the online exam and the exam schedule. So far MAH MBA-CET used to be conducted in the middle of March every year, but in 2016 it appears that DTE Maharashtra proposes to delay the conduct of exam and may conduct it in the month of May 2016 after the admission process in top rated B-schools is over.

The Common Admission Process (CAP) 2016 being coordinated by IIM Kashipur is going to start on February 15, 2016 and will be a different and more aspirant friendly experience for the candidates seeking admission in 9 participating IIMs.
