Inspite of the fact that MBA is the most popular Post Graduate degree, why do MBA colleges have to bear the loss of vacant seats. As per our practice, we are quick to blame others for it too. We blame the European economic crisis, we blame the Govt. policies, we even blame students and etc, etc. But, we dont introspect; we dont sit down and check our faults.

Statistics as Benjamin Disraeli found out is the worst of three lies- lies, damn lies and statistics. Probably this is the reason an audit is needed for statistical presentation by an organization or institution. B-schools publish placement data year after year and a few of the top rated ones like IIM A, B, C publish it after getting it duly audited.
But why in Gods name is the need to publish the MBA placement data by top ranked, middle ranked and not so highly ranked B schools? Have you thought over it?
