If you are looking for B-school admission in the academic year 2013-14 and still exploring options, May Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) offers you yet another opportunity to improve your written exam score to be eligible for admission in some of the quality B-schools across India. The registration for the same, however, closes on April 10, 2013.

The online admission test is scheduled to be held in more than 50 cities in a four day window from 19th May to 22nd May, 2013.

I took admission to two-year full-time PGDM programme for academic session 2013-15 in one of the B schools in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. I also deposited the first installment of fees. With the change from paper-pencil mode to computer-based testing, Common Admission Test (CAT) has not only offered convenient options on date, venue and timing but has also made it easier for candidates to solve a particular section Verbal Ability.

The computer-based CAT is more appealing and the aspirants are happy that they do not have to manage the flying papers under fast or slow rotating ceiling fan and their belongings Pen/pencil/scale/eraser, admit card etc.

As most of the B-schools tend to complete their campus placement during the months of February-April every year, the early trend on final placements 2013 suggests that more companies are heading to top B-schools than the last year. The recruiters, however, are taking a cautious approach and the number of offers per company has come down.
