Data interpretation, logical reasoning and data sufficiency are important areas of CAT. It is necessary for all CAT takers to prepare themselves well for the respective areas. Dr Ramdas M Pai, chancellor of Manipal University, presided over the function, while Dr R C Natarajan, director of the institute, set the tone for discussion.

The CMAT February 2013 ended on February 25 and it is being hailed as a very successful exam. Dr S S Mantha, chairman of the AICTE, which conducts the test, in a free-flowing interview with MBAUniverse.com, spoke his heart out. Dr Mantha spoke elaborately on CMAT, its future road map, the Indian MBA education sector and roles B schools can play in improving the scenario in management education.

Q: What is your reaction on CMAT February 2013?

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to its two-year post graduate program (PGP) in management (2013-15 batch), to be conducted in Mumbai. The program begins in July and the last date of the receipt of applications is March 22. The number of seats is 75.
