United States remains on top of Innovation Rankings by INSEAD & CII; India slips
Sadly, India has slipped its last years ranking of 23 to the 41st position this year. The GII that has studied 130 countries has ranked Germany in the second position, followed by Sweden, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
The European economies including the Nordic ones continued to do well in 2008. Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands figured in the top 10 apart from Germany, Sweden and UK that figure in the top 5. However France was the biggest loser slipping from the 5th to 19th position.
IIMs offer multiple ways to access results; install additional servers
IIMs have informed MBAUniverse.com that they have taken multiple steps to tackle the issue. Students are advised to access the scores using several other options.
Acknowledging the issue, IIMs said, CAT results have been announced today. With close to 250,000 candidates, their friends, relatives, and coaching classes trying to access the result on CAT website, we face a gargantuan peak-load problem on this day. And, as a result, we receive many requests from faculty, staff, and students with inquiries for CAT score of their kith and kin.
XAT 2009: A tough test
XAT 2009 had 104 questions as compared to 120 questions last year and 130 questions in 2007. The questions were divided into 3 sections - Verbal and Logical Ability (35 questions), Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making (31 questions) and Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability (38 questions).
