MAT Feb 2009: Over 55 institutes from Western region to participate

AIMA Center for Management Services (AIMA-CMS) informed MBAUniverse.com that close to 55 management institutes from Western Region will be accepting the MAT scores.
Some of the prominent institutes include Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Jaipur; Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur; Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and Kohinoor Business School, Khandala.

IIM K gets set to hold management festival Backwaters 2009

Backwaters has a plethora of interesting events lined up for all the enthusiastic business school students in the country. Many events have already been launched and have received a tremendous response so far.
IIMK Backwaters and TiE will hold White Knight, the flagship event of the fest. It is a socially relevant Business Plan Competition based on the theme of agriculture. It provides a platform for existing and budding entrepreneurs to connect, network, collaborate and bring about a positive change in society.

NMAT 2008 Analysis: Easy test with no surprises

Leading test prep institutes told MBAUniverse.com that NMAT was an easy test with no big surprises.

NMAT paper was a total of 150 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. There were three sections - Quantitative Ability with 60 marks, Logical Reasoning with 50 marks and Language Skills with 40 marks. Negative marking was 25% of the allotted marks to the questions where each question was carrying equal marks.

Flashback: IIM C Class of 1983 revisits campus

IIM C informed MBAUniverse.com that 48 alumni from the 1983 batch of 105, some with their families and around 70 alumni of the various other batches attended the two day long festivities on the campus.

The two day celebration offered a diverse menu of events and interactions including performances, plays, student-faculty-alumni interactions, parties. Sharing his experience of coming back on campus after 25 years, Shantanu Khosla, an alumni of the batch of 83 said, It feels great to be back on campus!
