NMAT 2008 Analysis: Easy test with no surprises

Leading test prep institutes told MBAUniverse.com that NMAT was an easy test with no big surprises.

NMAT paper was a total of 150 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. There were three sections - Quantitative Ability with 60 marks, Logical Reasoning with 50 marks and Language Skills with 40 marks. Negative marking was 25% of the allotted marks to the questions where each question was carrying equal marks.

IIM C informed MBAUniverse.com that 48 alumni from the 1983 batch of 105, some with their families and around 70 alumni of the various other batches attended the two day long festivities on the campus.

Like other management entrance tests Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a test of Life Skills - Skills/techniques which are necessary to live an efficient life. It contains General Intelligence and Logical/Analytical thinking, Arithmetic, Interpretation and Understanding of Data, General Awareness and English Language.

SNAP 2008 Analysis: Modification is test pattern; Quant section moderately tough

According to the SNAP 08 analysis done by Indore based MBA test prep company PT Education, The paper pattern was slightly changed compared to the previous year. There were 135 questions spread across 4 sections. This time the test takes introduced the differential marking to all the sections instead of only Analytical Reasoning section.

AIMA to hold MAT on February 1; 360 institutes to admit MAT-takers

According to the information shared by Wg Cdr V S Bejoy (Retd), Director, CMS, AIMA, A total of 360 management institutes are participating in MAT this time. Every year, lakhs of students avail of this test. The test is conducted 4 times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December.
