IIMs need diversity to improve learning

Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy organized a Two-day employability Skill Enhancement Programme (SEP) for college students on 9th and 10th October, 2015. PwC and IIM-C have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to partner in areas of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). As a part of the agreement, IIM-C and PwC will develop and deliver training programmes on IFRS.

Now, the first batch of IMS Proschool students will graduate to join the industry. The convocation ceremony will be held on August 8, 2008 in Mumbai. The convocation address will be delivered by Prof G Sethu, Director and Officer on Special Duty at National Institute of Securities Market.

As part of the Building IIM-B for Tomorrow initiative, undertaken by the students and faculty to further strengthen the brand IIM-B, the 2006-08 Batch of students have set up the Class of 2008 Fund. The fund will be used for instituting faculty and student excellence awards as well as for supporting infrastructural developments on campus. The MoU between AIMA and IGNOU to offer joint E-learning and Doctoral programmes was signed on August 2, 2008 in New Delhi.
