Over hundred B-schools to use CAT 2008 scores; Nanyang Business School, Singapore in new list

Last year, 111 B-schools were part of the official list of participating B-schools. MBAUniverse.com analysis of past years CAT Bulletin reveals that there is a high churn in participating B-schools.
There are 34 new non-IIMs institutions who have decided to use CAT 08 scores whereas 41 B-schools have opted out of CAT.

In perhaps the first instance of a foreign B-school enrolling with Indian management exam, Singapore based Nanyang Buisness School has been added this year in the list of non-IIMs B-schools who are using CAT 08 score.

Prof CK Prahalad, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw urge Indian firms to embrace innovation

CAT 2008 to be held on Nov 16

The CAT Bulletins, which contains application form can be purchased from July 14, 2008 till August 8, 2008 from select Axis bank branches, and in special cases from IIMs directly by August 13, 2008. The last date of submission of CAT forms is September 5.

IIM-A Prof Dr Raghuram part of government panel to study airline industry crisis

Infrastructure expert and Indian Railways Chair Professor at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) Prof G Raghuram is part of the panel.

The Committee, to be headed by Cabinet Secretary, would have Secretaries of the Ministries of Finance, Civil Aviation, Revenue, Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Planning Commission, IDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh and Dr Raghuram.

ICRI launches ICRI HEALTH; to offer MBA in Healthcare

ICRI HEALTH will offer 2 year full time MBA in Healthcare Management (HCM). Apart from the full time programmes, ICRI Health will also offer part-time programmes for working professionals in healthcare sector.

The MBA (HCM) will commence from August 2008 and will be offered in ICRIs six campuses located in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. In total, ICRI Health is expecting 250 to 300 candidates to enrol for the programme. The fees for two year full time programme will be Rs 3 lakh.
