The MoU was signedto launch the Centre of Excellence for Supply Chain Management (SCM).
LIBA says that the Centre of Excellence will see the amalgamation of industry thought leaders, domain experts, academicians and technology partners in the SCM arena. The centre will also be the fulcrum from which innovative ideas emerge to change the existing supply chains to value networks.

There are 34 new non-IIMs institutions who have decided to use CAT 08 scores whereas 41 B-schools have opted out of CAT.

In perhaps the first instance of a foreign B-school enrolling with Indian management exam, Singapore based Nanyang Buisness School has been added this year in the list of non-IIMs B-schools who are using CAT 08 score.

He spoke to the ISB students on Leadership, Teamwork, Strategy & Motivation. The talk covered strategies and systems for achieving success, both in business and the sports arena.

Speaking on an important requirement for a good leader, Dr Charlesworth said, Understanding the team players is critical for a leader. A leader has to constantly listen to what his team is saying. Working with the team is a moral choice it is about doing the right things at the right time for the right reason.

This is an in-company programme that started from March 28, 2008.

The program focuses on functional management skills, strategic planning and execution and complimentary soft skill to enhance the technical expertise of the participant.
