Mrs Sheila Dikshit, Chief Minister, Govt of NCT of Delhi delivered keynote address and launched the programme. In her address, she motivated students to perform better and excel in whichever field they choose.

It was also decided by the IIM-Cs academic council that all the faculty members of the three erstwhile academic groups and the Centre for Development and Environment Policy would become members of the newly formed group. Professor Manish Thakur would be the Group Coordinator.
