MDI Murshidabad PGDM 2027-29: Post Graduate Diploma in Management Admission, Fees, Curriculum and Placements
MDI Murshidabad PGDM 2027 intake is 180 seats for Batch 2027-29. It is the institute's flagship programme, approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA and recognised by AIU as equivalent to a two-year, full-time MBA. Admission is through CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or a valid GMAT score, followed by GD and PI. MDI Murshidabad launched its PGDM in 2014. The first batch of students was addressed by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, then President of India, on 24 August 2014.

MDI Murshidabad PGDM Admission Process 2027
MDI Murshidabad PGDM admission for Batch 2027-29 runs through a common MDI application form, followed by shortlisting and a GD and PI round. Application dates will be announced soon. These are the main points of the process:
- Eligibility: 50% in Class X, Class XII and graduation, with final-year students allowed to apply.
- Exams accepted: CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or a valid GMAT score; international applicants apply with GMAT.
- Application fee: Rs 1,000 for MDI Murshidabad, Rs 3,000 for MDI Gurgaon, or Rs 3,500 for both, inclusive of 18% GST.

The MDI Murshidabad PGDM curriculum is spread over six terms, with most of the core courses in the first three terms. Core courses cover the major functional areas and the basic disciplines of Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Business Communication, Business Law, Quantitative Methods and Decision Sciences. Evaluation is continuous, and the weighted average of all course grades gives each student's CGPA.

MDI Murshidabad PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2027
MDI Murshidabad PGDM eligibility for Batch 2027-29 has four parts:
• A valid CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT score.
• At least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in both Class X and Class XII.
• A bachelor's degree of at least three years after 10+2, in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
• Final-year students can apply if they complete the degree by 30 June 2027 and submit proof by 1 October 2027. Work experience is not mandatory.

MDI Murshidabad Selection Process 2027
The MDI Murshidabad selection process for the PGDM has three stages:
- Shortlisting on the details in the application form and the CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT score.
- GD and PI at a centre in Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai or Mumbai, or online. Centres other than Kolkata and Gurugram are tentative.
- Final selection on weighted components, with successful candidates informed by the institute.

MDI Murshidabad weighs seven components in the final selection: the CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT score; GD and PI; academic merit; academic diversity; work experience; sports and extracurricular activities; and gender diversity.
