The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)at IIM Jammu is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Application process for admission at IIM Jammu opens with the start of CAT  registration process. Candidates have to apply for CAT by the last date. There is no need to apply and pay separately for IIM Jammu Admission at this stage.

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA program at IIM Jammu is through CAT Exam and IIM CAP PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Jammu is a three-step process- Pre shortlisting, Shortlisting, and participation in IIM CAP PI round or IIM Jammu SAP round

In the first step, candidates are screened as per the IIM Jammu admission policy on performance in CAT exam and in the second step they are considered on various parameters for shortlisting for Common Admission Process (CAP) comprising Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. After the PI round, IIM Jammu prepares merit list for final admission as per its final selection weightages. Detailed Admission process is as below:

The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for CAP round which is the common PI round for 10 CAP participating IIMs. Candidates Not qualifying for CAP round are given the opportunity to register for SAP (Supplementary Admission Process) which is also PI round for IIM Jammu and get shortlisted at reduced CAT score.  
Candidates are shortlisted from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and have their interest and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme   
In addition to the Common Admission Process, IIM Jammu will conduct an additional Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) for candidates who meet IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP cut off criteria. Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is conducted by IIM Jammu and two other CAP participating third generation IIMs for the candidates who have not been shortlisted and have not been able to participate in Common Admission Process (CAP). The shortlisting criteria for SAP have a lower CAT cut off (91%ile in 2024) than applied for CAP round (94%ile in 2024) .
After the PI round, IIM Jammu will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Jammu to successful candidates. 
The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in CAP round, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others
Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date

Curriculum

The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. IIM Jammu also has Student Exchange Program (Merit Based) and National and International Live Projects.

Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA program. Besides, every student needs to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course.

A student must take 48 credits from elective courses offered during the second year. A Student need to take 16 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. Key specialization areas offered to MBA students are Finance and Accounting; Marketing; OB & HRM; IT Systems & Analytics; Operations, Supply Chain & Decision Sciences; Economics & Business Environment; Business Policy, Strategy & General Management.

Curriculum

The IIM Nagpur curriculum is benchmarked against the best in the world to ensure that excellent management education is imparted based on vibrant pedagogic practices while maintaining contemporary relevance in the Indian scenario. A combination of lectures, classroom discussions, case studies, individual and group projects, term papers, role plays, business games are included to deliver and evaluate the courses.

MBA program includes 3 terms in a year. The courses comprise Professional Management Practice including Rural immersion and interaction with Industry experts as mentors, field immersion and summer internship on completion of the first year. It lays the foundation for conceptual and critical reasoning. Lectures by various guests including academicians, industrialists, and eminent personalities, also enrich the student experience.

The Field Immersion Module during the 1st year at IIM Nagpur offers an opportunity for MBA students to interact with the industry. Students are attached to participating organizations from 4 broad sectors- Government and Infrastructure; Industry and Business (Small and Medium Enterprises); Agriculture, Food Processing & Rural Development and NGO and Environmental Management.

Also, students intern with corporate enterprises in the traditional summer internship at the end of the first year. The FIM acquaints them with the organizational challenges of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the not-for-profit sector.

Curriculum

NMIMS Navi Mumbai MBA programme has a dynamic curriculum designed in conjunction with academics and industry practitioners.   • Applicant must be a graduate with 50% marks
     
  • The candidate should be registered for NMAT by GMAC and must score well to become eligible for admission. 
     
  • The candidates, who have passed or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained in writing from the University concerned. 
     
  • A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for NMIMS Navi Mumbai MBA Admission

BITS Pilani MBA in Business Analytics Admission 2025  is through various MBA entrance exam scores. BITS Pilani Admission Process has following steps:

  • Step-1: Apply & appear for the Business Analytics Aptitude Test conducted by BITS Pilani  
  • Step-2: Shortlist: Candidates will be shortlisted based upon BAAT performance  
  • Step-3:  PI Round: Shortlisted candidates will be called for PI round comprising PI and Extempore
  • Step-4: Final Selection: Final selection of the candidates will be based on  the performance in Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT), Personal Interview, prior academic records, Work Experience, performance in CAT (2024) / XAT (225)
  • GMAT (2024) among others. It may be noted that BAAT -an aptitude test conducted by BITS Pilani in final selection round has highest weightage of 50% in final selection

Shortlisting Criteria
BITS Pilani endeavours to evaluate candidates holistically based on various key parameters.

  • Shortlisting for the second round (personal interview) is done based on the performance in the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT).
  • Candidates shortlisted for the second round are evaluated based on their personal interview, extempore, prior academic records, work experience and performance in CAT (2024) / XAT (2025) / GMAT (2024). Please note that appearing in these CAT / XAT / GMAT is not mandatory for admission to the MBA in Business Analytics program; however a candidate will get weightage based on the best performance in either of CAT / XAT / GMAT.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the final result through e-mail and results can also be viewed on the official admission website of the institute.

BITS Pilani admits MBA students with a proven calibre to perform. BITS Pilani MBA Selection process is facilitated through a rigorous process which requires highly competitive entrance exam scores, performances in GD-PI and other criteria. Following steps are included in the BITS Pilani Selection Process:

  • Step 1: Must have appeared in one of the eligible entrance tests scores of which are accepted by BITS Pilani. Acceptable exam scores for admission 2025 are XAT 2025, CAT 2024, GMAT, BAAT 2025
  • Step 2: The candidate should apply to BITS Pilani online before the deadline. The application fee of Rs.3300/- should also be paid online.
  • Step 3: Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (PI) round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of BITS Pilani
  • Step 4: After the BAAT exam and GD-PI round, admission offers are made by BITS Pilani to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in BAAT, performance in GD-PI round, academics, Work Experience among others
