Step 1: Register for XAT 2027
Visit the XAT registration portal and create your account using a valid email ID and mobile number. Complete the registration process to generate your login credentials.
Step 2: Fill the XAT Application Form
Log in to the application portal and enter your personal details, academic qualifications, work experience (if applicable), communication address, and other required information accurately.
Step 3: Select XLRI PGDM (LSCM)
While filling the XAT application form, choose XLRI Jamshedpur – PGDM (Business Management) as your preferred programme. You may also apply for other XLRI programmes by paying the additional programme application fee.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Upload the prescribed documents in the specified format:
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Signature
• Academic certificates/marksheets (if required)
• Category/PwD certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the XAT registration fee along with the XLRI programme application fee through the online payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 7: Download the XAT Admit Card
After successful registration, download your XAT 2027 admit card from the official portal when it is released.
Step 8: Appear for XAT 2027
Appear for the XAT 2027 examination, scheduled to be held on January 3, 2027. A strong overall and sectional performance is essential for shortlisting.
Step 9: Attend the Personal Interview
Candidates shortlisted based on XAT scores will be invited to participate in the Personal Interview (PI) round conducted by XLRI.
Step 10: Receive the Final Admission Offer
Final admission offers are made based on XAT score, Personal Interview performance, academic profile, work experience, and overall candidature. Selected candidates must complete fee payment and document verification within the stipulated timeline to confirm admission.
Candidates applying for the programme must satisfy the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree of minimum three years' duration in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year students completing their degree by June 15, 2027 are also eligible.
- Indian candidates must appear for XAT 2027.
- NRI, PIO, OCI and Foreign Nationals may apply through XAT as per XLRI norms.
Candidates are shortlisted based on XAT scores and evaluated through the Personal Interview (PI). Final admission is based on a holistic assessment of academic performance, interview performance, and overall profile. XLRI does not disclose fixed weightages.
