GIM Goa PGDM Big Data Analytics (PGDM BDA) is a two-years full-time MBA equivalent programme with specialization in Data Analytics and related domains. GIM Goa PGDM BDA course is for individuals who wish to become data scientist, data analyst, database administrator and business intelligence analyst.
GIM Goa PGDM Big Data Analytics program exposes students to statistical theory, data management including big data, and business intelligence systems including machine learning, artificial intelligence and deep learning and related tools, techniques and algorithms. The major emphasis of GIM Goa PGDM Big Data Analytics program is on providing hands-on training to the students using all major software tools in vogue and working on actual industry projects.
GIM Goa PGDM Big Data Analytics Admission Process 2026 is based on shortlisting candidates based on Profile, Competitive exam score and Score of GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT). GIM Goa Achiever’s Round
The Achiever's Round of GIM Goa is a profile-based shortlisting process that evaluates candidates based on program-specific or other achievements in areas such as academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and professional experience. This round applies to all programs based on the candidate's first preference.
Candidates are shortlisted for the Achiever's Round without considering CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores initially, which is factored in at the later stage. Select candidates from the Achievers Round receive a spot admission offer, even before their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are available. GIM Goa Achiever Round interviews are conducted in Delhi, Goa and Kolkata.
GIM Analytics Aptitude Test - GAAT
Candidates for PGDM (BDA) will need to take an online aptitude test called GAAT (GIM Analytics Aptitude Test). This is a 75 minutes test with Multiple Choice Questions. GAAT 2026 will be held on - 1st February 2026. GAAT will be administered online. The candidates will be sent a test link for GAAT, which can be taken from anywhere at no extra cost. Education background
To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Programme, the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the programme. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates who apply online for admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of Entrance Score (CAT/XAT/CMAT or GMAT score)
Academic Record
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process – the Individual Assessment Individual Assessment Process (Personal Interview) will be held in January/ February 2026(tentative). Personal Interview

Students are also assigned a topic for the extempore round, which assesses their ability to think on their feet.
Applicants should note that mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria may not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IMI Kolkata. IMI Kolkata will not entertain any correspondence on this subject and decisions of the IMI Kolkata Admissions Committee will be final in all matters.

All students whose total family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum shall be eligible for Scholarship under Economically Weaker Section. Launched in 2019, this is a premium PGDM offered by IMT Ghaziabad focusses on a specific ecosystem – banking and financial services. This large, growing, critical, international industry requires both an understanding of core management skills as well as significant domain expertise. The vision of the program is to make participants industry ready for not just day one for BFSI (Banking and financial services Industry), but to provide them with the conceptual and principles-based understanding that will future-proof their skillsets to meet the expected material disruption in this space over the next few years.
Following a full review of the program architecture and based on stakeholder feedback, the structure of the program was aligned with the dual goals of aligning closely with industry needs (immediate and in the medium term) as well as clearly differentiating it from the traditional PGDM Finance, in terms of content, design, and delivery.
