Step-1: Register to Get User ID: Click on Apply Now at MICA website. On the page that opens, you should fill in your name, mobile number, valid email ID and after clicking on ‘I Agree’ box, and entering captcha, you need to click on submit button.  

Step-2: Check & Verify Details: Verify the filled in information and click on OK button. Your User ID and password are now sent to your mobile and on your email ID. The page also displays your application number which you should note for future reference

Step-3: Go to Application and Upload Photo & Signature: Your MICA registration is now complete. Click on Go to Application and read instructions how to fill MICA application form and proceed further. The application form first requires to fill personal details, upload your photo & signature at the top 

Step-4: Fill Academic Details & Work Experience: On the next page you need to fill the academic details from class 10 onwards and also your work experience details

Step-5: Enter CAT/XAT/GMAT Exam Details: On this page you should choose the entrance exam the score of which you wish to submit for admission and if available now, you should submit exam score also. If you do not have the score card now, you will be allowed to update your score later. Besides, as MICAT is the mandatory test for MICA Admission, you should choose whether you wish to appear in MICAT-1 or MICAT-2 or in both

Step-6: Make Payment: MICA Application fee is Rs.2100. You need to pay this fee online. If the fee amount is correct you should click on ‘I Agree’ before finalizing the payment and proceed further. 

Step-7: Enter Entrance Exam Score after Result Declaration: After the CAT/XAT  result declaration, MICA will give you the opportunity to update your exam score. You should login as Already Registered candidate to update your CAT/XAT score

MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income.  The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.

MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00  and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.

The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.

Step-1: Register to Get User ID: Click on Apply Now at MICA website. On the page that opens, you should fill in your name, mobile number, valid email ID and after clicking on ‘I Agree’ box, and entering captcha, you need to click on submit button.

To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Programme, the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the programme. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2026. Candidates who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the programme. IMI Kolkata PGDM Selection Process
Candidates who apply online for admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of Entrance Score (CAT/XAT/CMAT or GMAT score)

Academic Record
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process – the Individual Assessment Individual Assessment Process (Personal Interview) will be held in January/ February 2026(tentative). Past academic records, performance in the individual assessment process along with other qualitative parameters, like quality of work experience and extra-curricular activities constitute the core components of the selection process. The IMI Kolkata Admissions Committee reserves the right to modify these components while communicating these to the applicants at the Individual Assessment stage. The overall objective will be to identify and assess the candidate’s potential for a managerial career.

Personal Interview
The last stage of the procedure is the Personal Interview round in which students are evaluated based on their knowledge of current events, oral communication skills, domain knowledge of their degree, and work experience (if any). This is an extensive session with a panel that includes representatives of the faculty, business houses, and alumni. Students are also assigned a topic for the extempore round, which assesses their ability to think on their feet.

Applicants should note that mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria may not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IMI Kolkata. IMI Kolkata will not entertain any correspondence on this subject and decisions of the IMI Kolkata Admissions Committee will be final in all matters.

IMI Kolkata Tuition Fee Waiver
All students whose total family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum shall be eligible for Scholarship under Economically Weaker Section. Applications for Tuition Fee Waiver under Economically Weaker Section shall be invited from the students after they have been admitted into the programme. Any student joining PGDM 2026-2028 batch who is desirous of claiming the tuition waiver should apply to admissions office ([email protected]) before due date as will be intimated by the institute, with a copy of the income tax returns, PAN number, Certificate issued by competent authority appointed by appropriate government. Curriculum

The NMIMS MBA program begins with a two-week foundation module designed to build strong fundamentals through case-based learning, business etiquette training, and exposure to tools like spreadsheet modeling and social media applications. During the first year, students take core courses in Marketing, Finance, Operations and Decision Sciences, Economics, Human Resources and Behavioral Sciences, Communications, and Strategy. In the third trimester, they can also begin exploring electives to identify their areas of interest before finalizing a specialization.

In the second year, the curriculum offers more than 140 electives across diverse domains, along with a few compulsory courses. Several electives are developed in collaboration with industry leaders such as Google, Cognizant, Ernst & Young, and Lowe Lintas, ensuring students are aligned with current business practices. Beyond credit courses, students may opt for audit courses, seminars, and need-based workshops. A mandatory six-to-eight week summer internship between the first and second year provides practical exposure through live corporate projects, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications.

Curriculum

SBM-NMIMS Mumbai offers a Full time 2 Year MBA Program in Human Resource. The USP of the program lies in its design and delivery of core courses, sector specific inputs, skill building workshops and a strategic partnership with the world’s largest HR association SHRM. Students get benefit from the partnership with SHRM.

The MBA-HR Programme at NMIMS Mumbai comprises of 39 courses across six trimesters. There are 15 Workshops in six semesters and are conducted focusing on HR trends in sectors such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, IT and others. Inputs on HR practices are highlighted through a series of guest sessions, project work and seminars. Seminars in this category are compulsory and non credit.

The program also includes summer internship for 8-10 weeks in which students undergo full time intensive training with industry under the guidance of a project guide and a faculty guide. Consulting assignments are given to the students from different companies in the area of HR. Sector Specific Inputs are derived through continuous interactions with Business and HR leaders along with doing live corporate projects in multiple sectors like Automobile, IT, BFSI, FMCG and Pharma, Business Advisory, HR Consulting, Telecommunications, Retail (Brick and Mortar and E-commerce). 

Business Research Workshops and Dissertation are conducted to enhance skills of opportunity recognition, problem identification and solving, critical thinking and ability to work independently. A Workshop and a Course on HR Analytics along with an enhanced focus on data and analytics in every course is offered. Besides the programme has Capstone- the Business Simulation

NMIMS Mumbai eligibility to apply for 2 years full time MBA Human Resource programme admission has following key points in its eligibility criteria  

  • Applicant must be a graduate with 50% marks
  • The candidate should be registered for NMAT by GMAC and must score well to become eligible for admission.
  • NMIMS SBM Mumbai will consider only first take of NMAT by GMAC exam score. Score of Retake exam will not be considered
  • The candidates, who have passed, or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained in writing from the University concerned.
  • A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for NMIMS MBA/PGDM Admission  
  • Candidates having two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred for admission to MBA HR programme.
  • The candidate must have appeared for all the subject(s) / exams before the commencement of the respective program (s) of NMIMS. The examination of none of the subjects should be held after the commencement of the respective course.

Selection Process Description

The admission process of the two year full time MBA HR Program at SBM NMIMS Mumbai has following steps:

  • Step-1: Register and apply for NMAT exam. You should Register with NMIMS before your scheduled date of exam or NMIMS last date whichever is earlier. For example, if your first take of NMAT exam is scheduled on 15th November, you should apply for NMIMS MBA admission on or before 14th November. You can retake NMAT exam, but NMIMS will consider only first take of NMAT by GMAC score in admission process  
  • Step-2: Apply to NMIMS before Your first Take of NMAT exam date. NMIMS will accept only first take of NMAT exam score. NMAT Retake exam scores will not considered for shortlisting and for further selection process.
  • Step-3: Check Short-list on the basis of NMAT Score. Expected NMAT cut off score for NMIMS SBM MBA HR is 210
  • Step-4: Participate in CD-PI, the "Final Selection Round"
