Great Lakes Institute of Management has announced the commencement of admission process for its flagship one year full time PGPM 2017-18 at its Chennai and Gurgaon campuses. The academic session is proposed to begin in April/May 2017.
There will be two cycles of admission. Students need to have at least 2 years of work experience by March 31, 2017 for applying and should have valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online on the institutes website.

PGPM 2017-18: Flagship 1 year programme

With the CAT 2016 registration having already crossed 2.08 lakhs, 5 days before the extended last date to apply, it is for sure that the exam would prove to be more competitive than CAT 2015.

India has again missed the top 200 places in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2016-17, result of which were announced on September 21 for 980 institutes from 79 countries. Although 31 universities from India have been ranked among 980, it is only Indian Institute of Science, (IISc) Bangalore which figured among top 250 world universities. IISc has moved up from among top 251-300 slot to 200-251 slot in THE Rankings, marking a significant improvement.

CAT 2016 registration number crossed 2.08 lakh applicants at 3.30 PM on September 22, 2016 even before the 5 days extension in CAT 2016 registration window was announced by IIM Bangalore. Going by the trend it appears that CAT 2016 registration number will break past 6 years record.

For the consecutive second year and following the last year process, CAT 2016 Registration and application last date has been extended for 5 more days by IIM Bangalore till Sep 27, from earlier Sep 22, 2016.
Announcing the extension in CAT 2016 Registration date CAT Centre 2016 clarifies The deadline for submission of completed applications for CAT 2016 is extended to 5PM on September 27, 2016.

If you have not registered for CAT 2016, do it now as there is no proposal to extend the registration last date. Only few hours are left for the CAT 2016 registration to close at 5PM today.
In response to query raised by MBAUniverse.com, whether the registration date is proposed to be extended, Prof Rajendra K Bandi, Convener CAT 2016 and faculty at IIM Bangalore referred to the press release which stated that the registration process would close on September 22, 2016.
