Great Lakes commences admission process for its One Year flagship PGPM 2017 18; announces two cycles
Great Lakes Institute of Management has announced the commencement of admission process for its flagship one year full time PGPM 2017-18 at its Chennai and Gurgaon campuses. The academic session is proposed to begin in April/May 2017.
There will be two cycles of admission. Students need to have at least 2 years of work experience by March 31, 2017 for applying and should have valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online on the institutes website.

THE World University Rankings 2016 17 announced; IISc, IITs among 31 Indian institutes move up; 980 total ranked
India has again missed the top 200 places in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2016-17, result of which were announced on September 21 for 980 institutes from 79 countries. Although 31 universities from India have been ranked among 980, it is only Indian Institute of Science, (IISc) Bangalore which figured among top 250 world universities. IISc has moved up from among top 251-300 slot to 200-251 slot in THE Rankings, marking a significant improvement.

In response to query raised by MBAUniverse.com, whether the registration date is proposed to be extended, Prof Rajendra K Bandi, Convener CAT 2016 and faculty at IIM Bangalore referred to the press release which stated that the registration process would close on September 22, 2016.
