MAT 2016: Online CBT on Sep 10 as per PBT pattern; dont expect surprise but DA & GK could be tricky

MAT 2016 Computer based test to be held on September 10 in 11 test cities will be on the same pattern as paper pen based exam held on Sunday September 4. The CBT exam may not throw any surprise element as there was none in PBT exam except that few of Data Analysis questions and GK section turned to be a little trickier and time consuming. The overall MAT in paper based form remained moderate and same level of difficulty is expected in computer based test.

MDI Gurgaon: Admission needs high percentile in CAT 2016; sectional & overall score important

IIM Ahmedabad: Seats to increase from 440; set to benefit more CAT 2016 aspirants

IIM Ahmedabad after modifying and revamping its PGP, PGP-FABM and FABM programmes a year before, is now on the path to increase seats for PGP 2017-19 batch. MHRD has confirmed the receipt of such proposal from IIM Ahmedabad. If approved by MHRD, the proposal could prove to be a good opportunity for CAT 2016 aspirants as more of them will be offered admission in IIM Ahmedabad in 2017.
