CMAT 2016: Results out tomorrow; 400 B schools to accept scores
Moving fast to compensate the lost time, AICTE is going to declare CMAT 2016 result tomorrow on January 21, 2016 and on the same day will allow the candidates to download their score card. According to AICTE, at present there are 415 B-schools who will accept CMAT 2016 scores for PGDM/MBA 2016 admission. The CMAT 2016 test was held only 5 days back on January 17, 2016 in a single session of 3 hours from 9.30AM to 12.30PM in 62 cities across the country.
XAT 2016: Answer keys to Test Part 1 and 2 released; check if eligible to be shortlisted by XLRI
Consecutively for the 2nd year in a row XLRI has released the answer keys and question paper with explanation for XAT 2016. This is also the first time that answer keys for non-percentile calculation section of GK have also been released. Candidates missed the answer keys for GK section last year.

IIM Calcutta: declares shortlist 2016 with less weightage to CAT 2015 scores; check now
IIM Calcutta has announced the 1st stage shortlist of candidates for the flagship PGP 2016-18 programme and has awarded higher weightage to academics at the cost of CAT 2015 scores. The weightage to academics has gone up from 20 to 30 percent while it has been reduced from 77 to 67 for CAT 2015 scores in its shortlisting process for PI round to PGP 2016-18 batch.

CMAT 2016: Moderate test passes with no major technical glitches ; records 65 percent turnout
CMAT 2016 in its revamped pattern was held on January 17, 2016 from 9.30AM to 12.30PM with no technical issues. Most of the CMAT 2016 test venues recorded around 60 to 65% attendance of candidates. CMAT 2016 was held in the single session followed by GPAT 2016 at the same test venue. The test centres which were expecting around 100 candidates got about 65 CMAT 2016 test takers despite the fact that CMAT would not offer any other opportunity to improve the scores in 2016 as it has become a yearly exam with effect from CMAT 2016 as against twice a year exam earlier.
