CAT 2015 result declared on Friday January 8, 2016 might have awarded you with an overall percentile as high as 98 or 99 but if you think that this will suffice to get a call from an IIM, you are mistaken.

Thousands of CAT 2015 takers have scored 97 to 99 percentile but they are lacking what is needed by the IIMs old or new and this fact cannot be denied when you view your score cards.

CMAT 2016 Admit Card for the exam to be held on January 17, 2016 has been enabled by AICTE on the CMAT site today on January 9, 2016 after delaying it by 4 days. Earlier the Admit Card was to be issued on January 5, 2016. CAT 2015 result declared on Friday evening brought with it proud moment to Prateek Bajpai of Indore and V K Giri of Bhopal who scored a perfect 100 percentile. Prateek the 100 percentiler in CAT 2015 helped his city to maintain the legacy of scoring 100 percentile in CAT for a consecutive second year. Last year Harshveer Jain scored 100 percentile in CAT. Indore may now hope for another 100 percentiler in CAT 2016.

It is a great achievement for Madhya Pradesh that both Prateek and Giri scoring 100 percentile in CAT 2015 belong to this state.

The high tradition of commitment made by CAT Centre 2015 to enable the CAT 2015 result on website on January 8, 2016 has not only been kept but also an added feature to share the percentile scores through SMS has also been started. While the SMS to inform overall percentile score in CAT 2015 to all the 1.80 lakh test takers was sent at 1PM on January 8, 2016, the detailed result comprising scaled and percentile scores was enabled at 6.40 PM on CAT site.

After keeping the CMAT 2016 aspirants in a dilemma by not issuing the admit card on January 5, AICTE has now informed that the admit card would be enabled on Saturday January 9 from 9 AM onwards. The CMAT 2016 Admit Card is proposed to be available till the exam day. However, AICTE has not shared the reasons for delay in issuance of CMAT 2016 admit card which kept the candidates wondering whether the CMAT 2016 test day would also be postponed.
