IIM Ranchi: shortlist purely based on CAT 2015 score, 90 percentilers eligible; get ready for CAP round
IIM Ranchi is going to shortlist around 1500 candidates purely based on a score of 90 and above percentile in CAT 2015 for the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2016 to be coordinated by IIM Kashipur in 5 cities namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.
The minimum sectional percentile in CAT 2015 required for shortlisting is 80 as prescribed by IIM Ranchi. The proposed intake in PGP 2016-18 at IIM Ranchi is 120 which may increase by a few students when final admission offers are made.

Awarding 76% weightage to CAT 2015 scores, IIM Lucknow has announced the shortlist of candidates for various PGP 2016-18 programmes offered by this highly ranked B-school. It will be of interest to note that many candidates shortlisted by IIMA have not been able to make it to IIML.For a total intake of around 500 students, IIM Lucknow has shortlisted about 20000 candidates from different categories out of 1.80 lakh CAT 2015 test takers.
CMAT 2016: Results out tomorrow; 400 B schools to accept scores
Moving fast to compensate the lost time, AICTE is going to declare CMAT 2016 result tomorrow on January 21, 2016 and on the same day will allow the candidates to download their score card. According to AICTE, at present there are 415 B-schools who will accept CMAT 2016 scores for PGDM/MBA 2016 admission. The CMAT 2016 test was held only 5 days back on January 17, 2016 in a single session of 3 hours from 9.30AM to 12.30PM in 62 cities across the country.
