XAT 2016: Easier than earlier with fewer questions and more time; solve 78 in 170 minutes; Maximise attempts

In its revamped form, announced by XLRI, XAT 2016 is going to greet the aspirants with easier and fewer questions in the exam on January 3, 2016. According to the changes announced by XAT 2016 conducting XLRI, the exam will now have only 78 questions divided in 3 major sections which will be responsible to determine your percentile for shortlisting. These 78 questions shall have to be solved in 170 minutes instead of earlier 150 minutes allowing an increase of 20 minutes to solve the test paper.

XAT 2016: Changes announced - Revamped test; 78 questions in 170 minutes

XAT 2016 to be held on January 3, 2016 in paper pen mode will be a totally revamped the exam. Announcing the significant changes XLRI the XAT 2016 conducting B-school advises that the the total number of questions has been brought down to 78 in the question paper and the time allotted has been increased by 20 minutes. The candidates would have 170 minutes to answer the questions. Besides, the level of difficulty of the questions has also been carefully designed to provide level playing field in the test.

IMI Delhi: Admission application process closes Dec 5; no extension proposed apply now

The online admission application process for flagship PGDM 2016-18 batch at International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi is going to close tomorrow on December 5, 2015. No extension in the application deadline is proposed as of now. EPSI Writ petition: SC grants Stay against AICTE-PGDM notification 2010; paves way to PGDM 2016 admissions

Allowing the autonomy and maintaining the status quo of PGDM B-schools on the Writ petition filed by EPSI, Honourable Supreme Court of India has granted extension of stay against the AICTE notification dated Dec 28, 2010 on PGDM B-schools. The order of Apex court comes as a great relief to PGDM B-schools who could not proceed with the admission process for the academic session 2016-17 as the earlier stay of the Supreme Court against AICTE notification was valid only for the academic year 2015-16.

SC to hear EPSI Writ on Dec 4 against AICTE-PGDM notification 2010; Seeks autonomy to PGDM 2016 admissions

The Writ petition filed by EPSI seeking extension of stay against the AICTE notification dated Dec 28, 2010 on PGDM B-schools will come up for hearing at the Honourable Supreme Court of India on December 4, 2015 in the bench of Justice Iqbal.

The extension in stay is sought to clear the way for PGDM admission process in academic session 2016-17 in 600 PGDM B-schools and for restoring the status quo and autonomy of PGDM institutions for the year academic year 2016-17.
