Day 1 Highlights:
The day was packed with events that thronged with over participation from Business School students across the country.

As the first MBA from a premiere institute to be hired by the family owned business, he knows that every step of his attracts undue attention. It doesnt help that hes an HR man whose business its is to meet and get to know people across the ranks, which means theres hardly anybody in the company who doesnt have a view of who Abbey is and what Abbey doesor should do.

This years theme is Indian Banking: The Road Ahead. The symposium will have speakers from across the industry- banks, credit rating agencies, financial services firms and the media.

Over the years, it has been leading the management education sector -- it started satellite-based education in 2000, and then expanded into two international centers Dubai and Singapore.
MBAUniverse.com interviewed Fr E Abraham, S.J., director of XLRI Jamshedpur to share journey of XLRI, and some recent trends in management education domain. Prior to XLRI, Fr Abraham was the Director of XIM-B. He also worked as Joint Director of the Academy of HRD, and the President of the Association of Indian Management Schools.

VISTA 08, organizing with the theme of Emerging Economies, Emerging Realities, is the initiative of Forum for Industrial Interaction (FII), a student-run initiative at IIM B. Some of the leading speakers who will address Vista 08 include noted management thinker Mr Gurucharan Das and media icons like Mr Shekhar Gupta and Mr Rajat Sharma.
