We all must have often heard the clich India can be a frustrating place to do business. It is, indeed surprising for a civilization that worships:

Economist ranks IMD, IESE, Chicago GSB top global MBAs; IIM-A ranked global No 2 on new career opportunities

The Economists Which MBA? ranking puts IMD - International Institute for Management Development, IESE Business School - University of Navarra and Chicago, University of - Graduate School of Business as the top three MBA programmes. Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is the only Indian institute to find a mention in this ranking, with its MBA programme ranked at 91 globally. Commendably, its programme is ranked as second best programme on institute which opens new career opportunities. The ranking was released on September 30.

IIM Indore takes new initiatives in academic and industry-interface domains

On academic programme front, it has introduced a series of new courses, and its students are engaging with Industry by working on live projects.
According to information shared by IIM Indore with MBAUniverse.com, several new courses have been launched to the PGP and Executive PGP in Management course. These new courses include areas like Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Service Operations Management and Marketing of Financial Services. A broadband based course on Retail Management has also been introduced.
