TeamLease-MBAUniverse.com survey reveals top MBAs fear global Financial Meltdown will impact Jobs & Placements
According to a survey conducted by staffing company TeamLease and management portal MBAUniverse.com, whopping 60% of second year MBA students at Indias top B-schools like IIMs, XLRI, MDI and JBIMS fear that Wall Street meltdown will have some impact on this years final placements. In fact, 37% percent of the students polled said there will be a lot of impact on placements. Only 3% believed there will be no impact at all.

To deliberate on the current global turmoil and the role India Inc can play, Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi will be holding its annual national business summit titled Building India Inc 2008 on November 1-2, 2008. The theme of the Summit is Super Brand India.
The summit is an attempt to bring together the corporate and the academia to deliberate on issues and challenges facing the nation and share their experiences and views with the larger audience, says IIT DMS.
