298 offers were made for a batch of 180 students, with the average domestic offer coming in at 14.75 Lacs and the highest domestic offer being Rs. 28 Lacs. 12 international offers were also made with an average of $90,000 USD.
Says XLRI, A notable feature of the entire process was not just the increased leeway for the average student to choose, but also depth of specific roles that were tailored to woo the best of the countrys business graduates.

Final Placements 08: IIM Indore attracts top firms; salary up by 20%
With over 95 companies registering for the process making 367 offers to 173 students. The average salary of accepted offers stood at INR 13.07 Lacs per annum. The mean domestic salary has increased by more than 20% as compared to that of the previous year. Whats more, the top 50 offers have an average of nearly INR 18 Lacs per annum with offers spanning diverse sectors and roles, informs IIM-I.
Final Placements 08: MDI grads find dream jobs on Day Zero
The list of recruiters, in continuation of the trend in the last few years, burgeoned both in terms of number and their diversity. More than 120 companies evinced interest in recruiting from the 115 students who had enrolled for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), 31 students enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HR) and 22 students enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in International Management (PGP-IM). Of these, 35 were placed in the lateral placement process and 12 accepted the Pre-placement offer extended to them.
