Executive Master of Business Administration
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in blended mode is a program for working executives with a minimum work experience of three years. There are many qualified professionals who could not pursue formal management education due to different reasons. EMBA in blended mode provides an opportunity to such experienced professionals with minimal disruption to their work routine and personal pursuits. These experienced professionals may be from industry, corporates, government organizations, armed/paramilitary forces, NGOs and entrepreneurs. EMBA is an intensive two-year program designed for mid/senior level professionals to enhance skills and capabilities essential at such responsible positions.

IIM Jammu two-year EMBA program is delivered in a blended mode combining online and on campus modules. The program entails a total of 78 (72 course credits + 6 dissertation credits) credits spread over 6 trimesters, wherein one credit corresponds to 10 contact hours. In the first year, a participant must successfully complete 36 credit units through the core courses, spread over Terms I, II, and III. In the second year, a participant must successfully complete 42 credit units through his/her choice of elective courses spread over Terms IV, V, and VI and a dissertation.

The EMBA program courses are delivered through blended learning comprising of on-campus in the class modules and online modules. The delivery of every 3-credit course is done using the blend of online and on-campus modules. 24 hours teaching is done in online synchronous mode, and 06 hours teaching is done in the on-campus mode in physical classrooms at the IIM Jammu Campus.
Twenty-four hours of compulsory on-campus teaching sessions across four courses and the end-term exam would be conducted in each term at IIM Jammu Campus. IIM Jammu will provide lunch and tea on Campus during the on-campus module. The participants would make their own arrangements to participate in the on-campus module. IIM Jammu will help in negotiating with nearby hotels. The remaining 96 hours of online teaching across four courses would be run over weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The on-campus module will be conducted at the beginning of Term I, II, III, IV, V and at the end of Term VI.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)at IIM Jammu is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. Each year consists of three trimesters, with 8 weeks of summer internship.
The objectives of two year Post-Graduate Programme are to enable students to understand the socio-economic, technological, ecological and political environment of India and the globe; to equip students with required conceptual and interpersonal skills for managerial decision making in structured/unstructured environments; to inculcate positive thinking and problem solving skills to demonstrate leadership & team building in cross-cultural environment; to develop ability to take risk and be entrepreneurial; to develop socially responsible and ethical business leadership capabilities who can perform without compromising integrity, honesty and fairness.
Application process for admission at IIM Jammu opens with the start of CAT registration process. Candidates have to apply for CAT by the last date. There is no need to apply and pay separately for IIM Jammu Admission at this stage.
Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA program at IIM Jammu is through CAT Exam and IIM CAP PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Jammu is a three-step process- Pre shortlisting, Shortlisting, and participation in IIM CAP PI round or IIM Jammu SAP round

In addition to the Common Admission Process, IIM Jammu will conduct an additional Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) for candidates who meet IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP cut off criteria. Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is conducted by IIM Jammu and two other CAP participating third generation IIMs for the candidates who have not been shortlisted and have not been able to participate in Common Admission Process (CAP). The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. IIM Jammu also has Student Exchange Program (Merit Based) and National and International Live Projects.
Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA program. Besides, every student needs to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course.
A student must take 48 credits from elective courses offered during the second year. A Student need to take 16 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Jammu PGP (MBA) and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Jammu admission is submitted. At this stage, you do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Jammu Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Jammu as well as IIM CAP website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password. IIM Kashipur PhD programme consists of three stages – Coursework, Comprehensive Exam and Viva Voce, Thesis Work. Candidates are expected to submit their thesis in around four and a half years’ period from the date of initial registration. The maximum time allowed for completion of successful PhD thesis defense is six years from the date of initial registration
