Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
The Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Jammu is a full time residential management programme offering BBA+MBA degree. IPM aims to prepare young class 12 passed students with full of managerial and decision-making capabilities using an ultra-modern academic pedagogy of global standards based on a Holistic and Multidisciplinary Curriculum. The unique 5 year IPM offers 3 years Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) and 2 years of complete MBA degree programme as offered at IIM Jammu. The IPM student does not need to appear in CAT for admission to IIM Jammu MBA programme as after completion of 3 years, he/she will be automatically promoted to MBA programme. Besides, the IPM student has the choice to exit the IPM after 3 years with BBA degree.
The Five Year Full-time Residential Integrated Program is strategically designed with a blend of science, social science, and management courses. The program's aim is to integrate management education with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This program aims to prepare young professionals to start their career at any point in time by exiting from the program. According to NEP 2020, a holistic and multidisciplinary curriculum would aim to develop all capacities of human beings- intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional, and moral in an integrated manner.
Students have the option to exit the IPM any time. IIM Jammu awards ‘Certificate in Basics of Management’ after successful completion of one year of IPM; after two years ‘Advanced Certificate in Management’; after three years ‘BBA Degree’; after 5 years ‘MBA Degree’

The 5 Year IPM Program at IIM Jammu is divided into BBA + MBA degree programmes. During the 5 years of IPM, the first three years are based on the semester system and the last two years are based on the trimester system, as per the prevailing IIM Jammu MBA course structure.
At the end of 1st year, students will undertake Boot Camp at Ladakh. In the 2nd Year, students will complete a Social and Corporate internship. During the 3rd year, the students will enroll in an international exchange program with one of the partner institutions based on merit and course norms. Additionally, in the 3rd Year of the program, students will have the option to select a sector-specific specialization. The course structure after the sixth semester will be merged with the flagship MBA program of the Institute and students will be required to meet the academic rigor of the MBA program. The curriculum for the first three years includes choice of specializations in third year in Marketing, OB & HRM, IT Systems & Analytics, Finance & Accounting, Operations Supply chain & Decision Sciences.
After completing three years of IPM, the student will be part of MBA programme and will study the MBA curriculum and in the final year of MBA will have the same choice of specializations offered to MBA students.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) offered at IIM Jammu, is a 3 years full-time doctoral programme that offers research scholars opportunities for advanced studies and research in different areas of 'Management'. The programme aims to prepare research scholars for careers in teaching and research in management studies, for careers in the academic institutions and in other related disciplines and organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities. The Programme offers its research scholars a unique opportunity to engage in high-quality intra-disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary research. Candidate with post-graduation degree can complete Ph.D. in 3 years time.
Key objectives IIM Jammu PhD programme in management are to provide research scholars with necessary skills to identify and research complex issues in the field of management; to contribute to the creation, transmission and application of knowledge in the field of management; to do research and publications of international standard in inter-disciplinary management areas that will add value to the society and to the body of knowledge; to meet the teaching and research manpower needs of academia and industry by producing highly skilled individuals with exceptional analytical ability and trained in conducting specialized research.
IIM Jammu does not charge any fees for its full time PhD programme from the Research Scholars. On the other hand the PhD students are provided scholarships, fellowships, financial assistance. The fellowship covers all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) and living expenses (comprising boarding and lodging). In addition, research students are given scholarship and additional financial support.
A research scholar will be entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000 per month (after commencement of the Programme). Additional allowances like Contingency Allowance of Rs. 40,000 per year will also be paid. For purchase of Laptop, an amount of Rs. 50,000 one-time Allowance will be awarded. To attend International and National Conferences, the scholar will get up to Rs. 2,00,000 during the Ph.D. program after successfully clearing the comprehensive exam
- Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have qualified GATE, GRE, GMAT, or NET/JRF (UGC/CSIR) examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. Scores of any of these examinations, including CAT taken during the last three years should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form. Admission to the program is open to overseas candidates, including NRIs and foreign nationals.
- Candidates who have already had two-year full-time MBA/PGP completed in the last ten years from IIMs with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 are exempted from the test score and can apply directly.
- The candidates short-listed on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations will be called to IIM Jammu for a personal interview for final selection
- The respective area will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI on the basis of short-listed merit list prepared for each category and specialization
- The shortlisted candidate has to appear for a personal interview at IIM Jammu in front of the selection panel. The selection panel will assess the suitability of the candidates for research work based on the portfolio of the candidate.
- The committee will look into a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments, research interest etc.

IIM Jammu started the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program from Academic Year 2020- 21. Ph.D. is a 3 year full-time residential program that offers opportunities to scholars for advanced studies and research in different areas of ‘management.’ After completion of all requirements of the Program, the scholar is awarded the “Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)” degree by IIM Jammu.
PhD Program at IIM Jammu aims at preparing the doctoral scholars for careers in teaching, research and consulting in management and related disciplines, and for careers in other organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities. The areas of specialization, available in IIM Jammu PhD programme are Business Communication, Business Policy, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Economics & Business Environment, Finance and Accounting, IT Systems & Analytics, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management
The Ph.D. program at IIM Jammu has four components - Mandatory Course Work, Comprehensive Examination, Thesis Proposal Formulation and Research, Thesis Submission and Defence.
Research scholars will be encouraged to complete the Doctoral Program within three years that includes one year of rigorous course work to develops basic skills for analysing managerial problems. Research scholars shall take MBA level courses and advanced Doctoral level courses in the Area of specialization. The thesis work is aimed at providing an opportunity to make an original contribution to an area of management or one of its source disciplines.
The scholar is expected to complete the Program in three years. Under special circumstances, an extension may be granted to the scholar with Fellowship up to four years on the recommendation of TAC. In any case, the entire Program should finish within five years.

The Executive MBA in Corporate Affairs & Management at IIM Jammu is a management programme offered in Blended Mode. Uniquely designed and developed by IICA and IIM-Jammu, the Executive MBA - Corporate Affairs & Management (EMBA-CAM) is an intensive two-year post-graduate programme to build deeper understanding of various contemporary and relevant facets in the domain of corporate affairs and management. EMBA (CA&M) is a unique program offered by two institutes of national importance - the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). The program is designed for mid-career professionals to enhance and advance their corporate affairs and management skills and knowledge.
The program offering in a blended mode enables the participants to balance their work and personal commitments while completing the program. The faculty members from IIM Jammu and IICA will be delivering the program. The faculty team at these institutes have a great pool of knowledge and practical experience and will bring great learning avenues through their insights to the classroom.

IIM Jammu EMBA (CA&M) curriculum provides the participants with a comprehensive learning of corporate affairs, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, management, and corporate social responsibility. The two-year program consists of a rigorous focus on foundation/ core courses in the first year and electives courses in the second year. The two-year program will be delivered in a blended mode, i.e. online and offline campus sessions at IIM Jammu and IICA Delhi. Executive Master of Business Administration
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in blended mode is a program for working executives with a minimum work experience of three years. There are many qualified professionals who could not pursue formal management education due to different reasons. EMBA in blended mode provides an opportunity to such experienced professionals with minimal disruption to their work routine and personal pursuits. These experienced professionals may be from industry, corporates, government organizations, armed/paramilitary forces, NGOs and entrepreneurs. EMBA is an intensive two-year program designed for mid/senior level professionals to enhance skills and capabilities essential at such responsible positions.
This EMBA program will empower the participants with the knowledge, skill, attitude, flexibility and the ability for lifelong learning, to develop their careers to their fullest potentials. To ease the learning process for them, the program would be combining the on and off campus learning modules spread over two years. IIM Jammu two-year EMBA program is delivered in a blended mode combining online and on campus modules. The program entails a total of 78 (72 course credits + 6 dissertation credits) credits spread over 6 trimesters, wherein one credit corresponds to 10 contact hours. In the first year, a participant must successfully complete 36 credit units through the core courses, spread over Terms I, II, and III. The EMBA program courses are delivered through blended learning comprising of on-campus in the class modules and online modules. The delivery of every 3-credit course is done using the blend of online and on-campus modules. 24 hours teaching is done in online synchronous mode, and 06 hours teaching is done in the on-campus mode in physical classrooms at the IIM Jammu Campus.
Twenty-four hours of compulsory on-campus teaching sessions across four courses and the end-term exam would be conducted in each term at IIM Jammu Campus. IIM Jammu will provide lunch and tea on Campus during the on-campus module. The participants would make their own arrangements to participate in the on-campus module. IIM Jammu will help in negotiating with nearby hotels. The remaining 96 hours of online teaching across four courses would be run over weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The on-campus module will be conducted at the beginning of Term I, II, III, IV, V and at the end of Term VI.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)at IIM Jammu is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. Each year consists of three trimesters, with 8 weeks of summer internship.

The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. IIM Jammu also has Student Exchange Program (Merit Based) and National and International Live Projects.
Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA program. Besides, every student needs to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course.
A student must take 48 credits from elective courses offered during the second year. A Student need to take 16 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. IIM Kashipur PhD programme consists of three stages – Coursework, Comprehensive Exam and Viva Voce, Thesis Work. Candidates are expected to submit their thesis in around four and a half years’ period from the date of initial registration. The maximum time allowed for completion of successful PhD thesis defense is six years from the date of initial registration

In the first year MBA participants are given a complete flavour of general management as well as different function aspects of management with an objective to develop a holistic view of organizational management. Participants complete 21 credits of core courses in two years. One course credit is equivalent to 100 hours of study including 30 hours of class interaction. The new core course structure develops the students of IIM Kashipur to become better leaders in the new economy by making their training more contemporary. In the second of year of MBA programme, IIM Kashipur offers wide range of specializations in its MBA program. PhD in Management
Ph.D. (Executive) programme at IIM Nagpur is a doctoral programme in management for working business executives who are inclined to gain profound understanding of management research and contribute to management theory and practice. This programme will provide participants with rigourous training in various areas of management research and help them undertake high quality interdisciplinary research. The programme duration is 4 years, but the candidates can complete it in six years.

The admission process at IIM Nagpur for the Executive PhD programme is carried out over various stages as below:
- Fill a detailed application form and submit within a stipulated date
- Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for preparing the shortlist for PIs. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email.
- Candidates who accept the email invitation for PI will be called for interviews. All the candidates called for PI will have to attend area-led PI followed by programme-led PI. In case a candidate has applied for two areas of specialization, he/she has to attend the interview for each Area.
- Candidates who appear for the PI will be considered for this stage.
- Admission offers will be sent to the successful candidates. The selected candidates will receive a provisional admission offer from IIM Nagpur by email.
The participants are expected to complete the programme within four to six years. The initial six months of coursework will be followed by a comprehensive assessment before participants will undertake the thesis work for the remaining duration under the supervision of a Dissertation Advisory Committee (DAC). Participants are expected to submit their thesis by the end of the fourth academic year. If a participant does not complete the dissertation by the end of the sixth academic year, he/she may be allowed to register for one additional year, only on the recommendation of his/her DAC Chair and Ph.D. Programme Chairperson.
