Step 1: Fill Personal Details
On the first page you should fill your name, father’s & mother’s name, email ID, Password, Country, Mobile number and submit at Sign up column. After completing the step 1, you will receive the confirmation message. You should now click on ‘Activate Your Account’. An OTP will be received by you on email and mobile, verify it and proceed to complete the remaining part of MDI registration process
Step 2: Complete CAT Registration & Personal Details
On the next page, you need to fill information on CAT registration number and personal details with address.
Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
After completing your entrance exam details and personal details, now you should upload your photo and signature of required size as below.
Step 4: Fill Your Work Experience
The next step is to fill your work experience details. All the details should be correct else your candidature may be cancelled.
Step 5: Fill the Details of Extra Curricular Activities

MDI Gurgaon application fees is Rs. 3,000, inclusive of 18% GST. Candidates can select all the MDI programmes they wish to apply for, and pay the fees online.
After completing the above steps, your MDI application form is complete.
- At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum 3 years duration for PGDM, PGDM-HRM & PGDM-Business Analytics; Minimum 4 years duration for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the AICTE/AIU/ Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
- Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June, 2026 can also apply to the PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM-Business Analytics programmes, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 31st October, 2026.
- Applicants to the PGDM-IB programme must possess a minimum of 1 year (one year) work experience as on 31st January 2026, after completion of a minimum 4 years duration Bachelor’s degree for the programme. The candidates with 3 years’ duration bachelor degree are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for PGDM-IB Programme.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM BA final selection process is a multi-stage process.
- MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI process on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT 2026 scores.
- Stage-I MDI shortlisting: MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI round based on multiple parameters, with the CAT score carrying the highest weightage of 70%. Academic performance in Class 10, 12, and Graduation collectively contributes 15%, while work experience (10%), academic diversity (2.5%), and gender diversity (2.5%) ensure a balanced and inclusive selection process.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interviews between February and April 2027 at a center in one of the following cities: Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
- The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightages of CAT scores, WAT-GD-PI, Behavioral Assessment test, Academic merit, Academic diversity, Work experience, and social diversity etc as per weightages given in Table below.
- MDI PGDM Business Analytics scholarship: One Merit cum Means Scholarship belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) student.
- One Merit Scholarship of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the meritorious student of PGDM-Business Analytics Programme on the basis of overall merit ranks of the student in the programme.
- MDI Gurgaon offers merit-cum-means Scholarship scheme for the meritorious students to pursue PGDM courses at MDI Gurgaon belonging to economically weaker Sections (EWS). It is envisaged to provide 12 merit cum means scholarships (50% waiver of tuition fees) every year to the students pursuing two-year full time PGDM/PGDM HRM/PGDM-IB/PGDM-Business Analytics at MDI Gurgaon starting from AY 2021-22.
PGDM Online
MDI Gurgaon Post Graduate Diploma in Management Online is a two year non residential programme for working professionals. It is patterned along the same lines as the flagship PGDM programme of MDI Gurgaon. It gives an opportunity for high performers to earn a premium post graduate management qualification from a leading business school. They can earn this prestigious qualification from anywhere in the world without taking a break from their career. Learning will be rigorous and delivered through Online Synchronous Classes, Asynchronous, self-paced learning and Campus immersion.
The first year of the programme will comprise eight modules of six weeks each. Core (compulsory) courses worth 44 credits would be covered in this year. Elective courses are offered in the second year of the programme over three modules of 12 weeks each. The final module is dedicated to an end-of-programme capstone dissertation.
During the second year of study, participants may choose courses from a bouquet of various electives. Participants may specialize in any of the functional areas including Accounting & Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management, Information Management, Strategic Management, Business Analytics and Energy Management. Participants must earn a minimum of 36 credits from elective courses. CGPA would be calculated using the electives comprising 36 credits completed with best performance
Three campus immersions will be conducted - a 2 day induction bootcamp, a 5 day deep dive, and a programme closing wrap-up. Campus visits will include peer networking and workshops conducted by MDI Gurgaon faculty along with industry practitioners. The international immersion is optional and will be organized at the end of the programme based on the intention expressed by participants. The 1-2 additional campus immersions and international immersion are optional and will be organized based on the interest shown by the participants.
Participants may consume the asynchronous content in a self-paced manner. Participants will have the opportunity to attend 15 to 30 hours of synchronous sessions per course (depending on the credits), judiciously spread across the term of the course. Synchronous sessions will be scheduled on evenings and weekends. Peer group discussions and tutorials will also be scheduled by the course faculty. Participants will have access to the recording of synchronous sessions.

- Shortlisting of Applicants for the Personal Interview will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their valid GMAT/CAT/XAT scores.

Programme Structure/ Term Schedule
- The programme has five terms of course work followed by a dissertation project.
- An academic term is of twelve weeks duration which includes mid-term and end-term examination.
- A participant has to earn a minimum 103.5 credits from 32 courses in which 21 are core courses and 11 are elective courses (3 credits from 29 courses & 1.5 credits from 3 courses) plus 9 credits from dissertation.
- There is a 1.5 credit Experiential Outbound Leadership Training Programme & 1.5 Credit National Immersion Programme.
- A student has to undergo National Immersion module and experiential learning module on leadership competency development. The expenses for National Immersion module shall be borne by the students on actual basis in addition to the fees.
- The students will also undertake industry live projects, 2 practical oriented courses & Dissertation Synopsis submission in the month of July - August 2026.
- The compulsory dissertation / project may be taken up at the workplace and is required to be presented before a panel of experts.

- The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
The Applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
A minimum of 3-year of post-qualification work experience as on 31st March 2026.
Only paid and full-time work experience required, acquired after completing the Bachelor's Degree. Apprenticeship, Articleship, Internship etc. which form an integral plan of a course of study should not be treated as work experience.
Self-Sponsored /Sponsored Candidates through CAT 2025 /GMAT / XAT 2026
The Applicants must have Common Admission Test (CAT-2025) / a valid GMAT / XAT 2026 score to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-BM.
Foreign/NRI Applicants
- Foreign/NRI applicants can be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores. Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates. GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the status of applicants.

Eligibility Criteria
• A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division) or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after com-pleting higher secondary schooling (10+2).
• Five year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2).
• A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA along with Master’s degree with 60% (with first division).
For FPM (Non-Residential), minimum age of 35 years and a minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience, preferable at senior-level, is required as on last date of application.
For FPM (Residential), those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply. Candidates have to complete the requirement for the course before June 30, 2024 and produce original certificate /marksheets by September 30, 2024 failing which they may be asked to withdraw from the programme. The maximum age limit to apply for the FPM Residential Programme is 50 Years.
