Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD)
The Doctoral Programme (PhD) of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is a full-time doctoral programme to be completed in five years. The programme offers opportunities for advanced studies and research in different specializations related to Management Science. The eligibility criteria to apply for IIMK Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) are as follows:
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A., M.Com., M.E., M.Phil., M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, MCA, etc.) with at least 55% aggregate (or equivalent)
- Professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS along with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate (or equivalent) in the Bachelor’s degree.
4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 75% aggregate (or equivalent)
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/NC-OBC/EWS categories will be given a relaxation of 5% (or equivalent) in the minimum eligibility marks mentioned above.

CEMS MIM
IIM Calcutta CEMS MIM program is a one-year program which can be taken up simultaneously with the 2 year flagship PGP program of IIMC. The key distinguishing feature of CEMS MIM is that it brings forth all the stakeholders (schools, companies, students and alumni) together in a collaborative course which is the MIM. Qualifying students have to spend one term (Term V of IIMC 2nd year PGP / Term 1 of CEMS MIM) in any of the CEMS member schools abroad before returning to IIMC for the final term. The course is integrated through 5 main categories:
BLOCK SEMINAR: The CEMS MIM program begins with an intensive and concentrated week long session for students called a Block Seminar. Block seminars are graded.
SKILL SEMINAR: Skill Seminars are training seminars in practical skills relevant to an international management environment. BUSINESS PROJECT: Business projects have a flavour of a consultancy project wherein international student teams solve a real-life business problem faced by a company.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM IB program is delivered in following format:
1. Initial Study at MDI Gurgaon: Students begin the programme with two terms-Term I and II at MDI Gurgaon (Semester 1 of the partner Institution), where the focus is on foundational coursework. This phase emphasizes core inputs across qualitative and quantitative disciplines, aiming to build strong analytical, integrative, and communication skills.
2. International Component: After completing the initial two terms, students proceed to one of the partner institutions (emlyon business school in Lyon, France or to one of the six ESCP Business school campus locations; Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Turin, Warsaw and London) for two semesters (Semester 2 & 3 of the partner institution) equivalent to Terms III, IV, and V of MDI Gurgaon. During this phase, the curriculum provides an in-depth international management perspective, including a mandatory industry internship, primarily based in Europe, to ensure hands-on experience in a global business environment.
3. Final Term at MDI Gurgaon: Upon completion of the international component, students return to MDI Gurgaon for Term VI (Semester 4 of the partner institution), during which they complete the remaining academic requirements.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM IB Diploma & Degree Awarded
Upon successful completion of the MDI PGDM IB programme requirements, the student is awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Management International Business (PGDM-IB) by MDI Gurgaon, along with a Master in Management (MIM) degree from either emlyon business school or ESCP Business School, depending on the partner institution attended during the international study component.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM IB admission process can be divided into following stages:
- The candidates seeking admission to MDI Gurgaon PGDM IB programme must appear in CAT exam Then, candidate should apply separately for MDI admission.
- MDI application process is open from Thursday, 25th September 2025, till Friday, November 28, 2025.
- Shortlisting of candidates for the GDPI process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT scores.

Step 1: Fill Personal Details
On the first page you should fill your name, father’s & mother’s name, email ID, Password, Country, Mobile number and submit at Sign up column. After completing the step 1, you will receive the confirmation message. You should now click on ‘Activate Your Account’. An OTP will be received by you on email and mobile, verify it and proceed to complete the remaining part of MDI registration process
Step 2: Complete CAT Registration & Personal Details
On the next page, you need to fill information on CAT registration number and personal details with address.
Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
After completing your entrance exam details and personal details, now you should upload your photo and signature of required size as below.
Step 4: Fill Your Work Experience
The next step is to fill your work experience details. All the details should be correct else your candidature may be cancelled.
Step 5: Fill the Details of Extra Curricular Activities
On this page of MDI Application form, you need to fill the correct details of your extracurricular activities of inter-collegiate, institute and higher level of sports, cultural, literary and others

The required documents are to be uploaded on this page of requisite size like copy of Identification, Class 10, 12 and graduation marksheet/degree among others.
MDI Gurgaon application fees is Rs. 3,000, inclusive of 18% GST. Candidates can select all the MDI programmes they wish to apply for, and pay the fees online.

- At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
- Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4 years duration with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the AICTE/AIU/ Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
- Applicants to the PGDM IB programme must possess a minimum of 1 year (one year) work experience as on 31st January 2026, after completion of a minimum 4 years duration Bachelor’s degree for the programme. The candidates with 3 years’ duration bachelor degree are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for PGDM-IB Programme.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM HRM final selection process is a multi-stage process.
- MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI process on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT 2025 scores.
- Stage-I MDI shortlisting: MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI round based on multiple parameters, with the CAT score carrying the highest weightage of 70%. Academic performance in Class 10, 12, and Graduation collectively contributes 15%, while work experience (10%), academic diversity (2.5%), and gender diversity (2.5%) ensure a balanced and inclusive selection process.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interviews between February and April 2026 at a center in one of the following cities: Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM)
The Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) at IIM Indore is a two-year, full-time, residential programme. The programme commenced from the academic year 2018. The programme aims to groom participants into professional managers with a capacity to integrate human resource and business issues emerging in a dynamic environment; to apply an understanding of behavioural tenets for harnessing value in organizations and society; to apply an analytical orientation in creating sustainable and innovative value creation frameworks
The PGP-HRM Programme will Develop Critical Thinking Ability; Ability to work in groups and lead ethically; Develop Competence in Quantitative Analysis; Develop Competencies in Human Resource Management and will shape Human Relations within Organisations. The students will be empowered to draw upon psychometric instruments and applied psychological tools in shaping human relations within organisations. Participants will be introduced to techniques through which they can deploy an analytic orientation in understanding human behaviour in organisations and shaping evidence based interventions. They will build practical skills with respect to various HRM functions.

The PGP-HRM curriculum is spread over two years, each year consisting of three terms. The first year of the classes will take place along with PGP participants for most of the courses. The first year is a fundamental anchor of the programme and will provide a context of strong peer learning and appreciation of business issues. The second year will focus on specialized courses and industry projects. The second year of the programme enable the participants to interact closely with industry and business leaders while undertaking industry projects. At the end of the first year, the participant spends eight weeks on a summer project in a business organization, working in the domain of HRM and organizational leadership.
The first-year curriculum comprises core courses which introduce participants to a range of functional areas of management. They also equip participants with the necessary tools and techniques that are required for a breadth of management decisions. There are a few specialised courses in Term III for PGP-HRM participants to enable them to acquire inputs pertaining to innovative and state of the art developments in the field of HRM.
While a few skill development courses (SDCs) are common with PGP participants, a large number of SDCs are specific to PGP-HRM participants to enable them to develop skills pertaining to research, analytics and psychometric instruments.
The concept of credit is used to compute the workload of a course. As a general rule, a four-credit course requires a commitment of about 100 hours from the participant of which 25 hours are to be spent in the classroom (usually 20 sessions of 75 minutes each) and the balance to be utilized for preparation and assignments. The courses carry one, two, three or four-credits.
