IIM Amritsar offers Integrated B.Tech. – MBA Program (IBM) jointly by IIM Amritsar and NIT Jalandhar. The program integrates the curriculum of B.Tech. degree from NIT Jalandhar and MBA degree from IIM Amritsar in 5 years, thereby saving one academic year for the students. The program covers the entire MBA curriculum offered by IIM Amritsar. Courses normally covered in the 1st year of MBA at IIM Amritsar will be covered in Semesters 5-8 of the B.Tech. program through lectures in hybrid mode. In the final year of the IBM program, students are expected to take a minimum of 16 units and a maximum of 18 units of electives divided over three terms. IIM Amritsar Executive MBA (EMBA) is a 2 years Hybrid programme offered in Online and class room mode. EMBA is a non residential programme. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. IIM Amritsar MBA program imparts foundational functional knowledge of management in its first year and offers integrative and specialization courses in the second year. The program offers opportunity to develop global perspective thorough international market exploration.
The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for selected students to enhance their readiness for the MBA program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar.
