The deadline for the submission of abstracts for Xerox, Technopak and IBM cases is December 7, and prize money is INR 1.5 lakh.

As announced by FMS earlier, December 1, Monday is the last date for accepting the application forms. Prof Bhushan was honored at the 10th Annual Convention of Leadership-2008 organized by Dr. P N Singh Foundation. The Leaders of Tomorrow project has been conducting one year leadership course for slum children studying in schools in Mumbai.

The Convention aims at learning leadership models from various successful organizations. It was addressed by renowned leaders from the field of education and industry from India and abroad, including Prof Bhushan who spoke on What makes a young professional tick?

They succeeded against a field of 914 competitors running 702 simulated companies from campuses around the globe. The final was however won by Tom Kung of National Cheng Chi University, Taiwan. Six teams, including the IIM B team contested the finals.

The guest of honour for the day was Mr. Fehmi Hussain, Business Head, UP, Hindustan Times Media. He emphasized on practical learning acquired by students in organizing such events. Ms. Amita Mital, Chairperson Student Affairs, IIM Lucknow also shared the stage.
