Return Gift: University of Chicago business school renamed as Chicago Booth School of Business; alumnus David Booth donates $300 million

This is thelargest gift to any business school in the world, the school announced on Thursday, November 6.

The donor is David G. Booth, founder and chief executive of Dimensional Fund Advisors, an investment firm, his wife Suzanne Booth and their family. David Booth received an M.B.A. from the school in 1971. The combination of an up-front payment, the income stream, and the equity interest provided by the Booth gift is valued at $300 million. In recognition of the gift, the school will be renamed the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

AIMA to hold MAT on December 7

According to official information shared by AIMA with MBAUniverse.com, A total of 293 B-Schools are accepting MAT Score of December 2008 test for admission to their programmes.
Every year, lakhs of students avail of this test. The test is conducted 4 times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December.
