IIFT and Al Gores Foundation for a Sustainable Future to hold B-plan competition on Sustainable Technology

The competition is meant for MBA, engineering and other postgraduate students in India, with a focus on bringing new sustainable technologies to market through entrepreneurship.
A large number of entries have been received from Engineering and Management Institutes across India. Shortlisted teams will present their business plans to a panel of distinguished judges including industrialists and venture capitalists on 4th December at IIFT, New Delhi.

Management thinker Prof Y K Bhushan honored

Prof Bhushan was honored at the 10th Annual Convention of Leadership-2008 organized by Dr. P N Singh Foundation. The Leaders of Tomorrow project has been conducting one year leadership course for slum children studying in schools in Mumbai.

The Convention aims at learning leadership models from various successful organizations. It was addressed by renowned leaders from the field of education and industry from India and abroad, including Prof Bhushan who spoke on What makes a young professional tick?

Chicago, Harvard, Kellogg top US B-schools; Queens Canada & IE Spain top non-US B-schools: BusinessWeek B-school Ranking 2008

Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University), Wharton Business School and University of Michigans Ross School of Business are ranked at #2, #3, #4 and #5 respectively. Queens School of Business, Canada is ranked at #1 non-US MBA, followed by Spanish B-school IE Business School.

No Indian B-school has managed to feature in the list of top non-US B-schools.
