It was a moment of joy and pride for 31 Great Lakers and their parents alike during the graduation ceremony at IAE Bordeaux University School of Management, France, that happened on May 13, 2016. The students completed Advanced Management Program (AMP) in European Business Administration and graduated with flying colours. In addition to their degree from Great Lakes, these 31 students will now hold an additional AMP from University of Bordeaux. The AMP is a part of Great Lakes MOU with IAE Bordeaux University School of Management.

To help the test takers, IIMs have issued an advisory asking students to come to test centers before time and also carry no cell phones and calculators.

The advisory was issued by IIM Bangalore which is conducting the CAT this year. The test will be held in 23 cities across the country. According to IIMs, this year, about 2,76,000 candidates are expected to appear for this test.

The structure of the exam will undergo changes this year, according to IIT Kanpur. This year this written management entrance exam will be conducted by IIT Kanpur.

According to IIT Kanpur, JMET 2009 will be of 3 hours duration. The test will consist of 120 questions including objective & multiple choice type in Verbal Communication, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation areas.
Earlier the test was two hours long with 150 questions where the sections were same.

Thats the question on the minds of lakhs of CAT 09 hopefuls. MBAUniverse.com spoke to Dr Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIM Bangalore on this issue. Dr Chandra said the CAT group at IIMs is busy in the evaluation process of taking IIMs CAT Online, and the outcome will be known in a few months time. IIM Bangalore was the nodal center for the CAT 08, this year.

In a path breaking move, ISB, Government of Punjab, and four Indian Business Leaders have signed a tripartite agreement to set up a second ISB campus at Knowledge City, Mohali.
