Hitesh Malhotra, whos pursuing PGDBM (International Business) at IMT, and interning at Dabur Pharma adds, My summer project is a practical application of what we studied in college.

The institute will also organize a three-week preparatory program before the commencement of the new session. Explaining the structure of the preparatory classes to MBAUniverse.com, Prof Ajay Pandey, Chairman, PGP program at IIM-A, said, These classes will be held for those students, who in the Admissions Committees perception, require strengthening of mathematical, computing and/or communications skills which are considered to be prerequisites for the program.

These initiatives are in the area of course curriculum redesign, introduction of new electives, examination and marking system, and international faculty. The new session for MBA students begins on July 2.

This will be inaddition to its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) and part-time PGDM. The new academic session for the two-year full-time PGDM program is starting on 15th June 2007 while the PGDM (IBM) course and the part-time PGDM program will start from July.

The institute will also organize preparatory courses during the orientation program to enable students to acquire essential knowledge in different management areas, before the actual start of the regular courses.
