The institute has also decided to replace its one-year Post-Graduate Programme in International Management (PGPIM) with a 15-month executive Post-graduate Program in Management (PGDM).IMI has got the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for the same.

Speaking to MBAUniverse.com, Dr C S Venkata Ratnam, Director IMI said, We have received the approval of AICTE to a launch 15-month Executive Post-graduate Program in Management. It is a post-experience program where up to one-third of the students are from developing countries in Asia and Africa.

The appointment is effective on August 1. Hes had close ties with Wharton. From 1971 to 1994, Robertson was a faculty member at Wharton, as the Pomerantz Professor of Marketing and chair of the Marketing Department.
