Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
The Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Jammu is a full time residential management programme offering BBA+MBA degree. IPM aims to prepare young class 12 passed students with full of managerial and decision-making capabilities using an ultra-modern academic pedagogy of global standards based on a Holistic and Multidisciplinary Curriculum. The unique 5 year IPM offers 3 years Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) and 2 years of complete MBA degree programme as offered at IIM Jammu. The IPM student does not need to appear in CAT for admission to IIM Jammu MBA programme as after completion of 3 years, he/she will be automatically promoted to MBA programme. Besides, the IPM student has the choice to exit the IPM after 3 years with BBA degree.
The Five Year Full-time Residential Integrated Program is strategically designed with a blend of science, social science, and management courses. The program's aim is to integrate management education with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This program aims to prepare young professionals to start their career at any point in time by exiting from the program. According to NEP 2020, a holistic and multidisciplinary curriculum would aim to develop all capacities of human beings- intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional, and moral in an integrated manner.
Students have the option to exit the IPM any time. IIM Jammu awards ‘Certificate in Basics of Management’ after successful completion of one year of IPM; after two years ‘Advanced Certificate in Management’; after three years ‘BBA Degree’; after 5 years ‘MBA Degree’

The 5 Year IPM Program at IIM Jammu is divided into BBA + MBA degree programmes. During the 5 years of IPM, the first three years are based on the semester system and the last two years are based on the trimester system, as per the prevailing IIM Jammu MBA course structure.
At the end of 1st year, students will undertake Boot Camp at Ladakh. In the 2nd Year, students will complete a Social and Corporate internship. During the 3rd year, the students will enroll in an international exchange program with one of the partner institutions based on merit and course norms. Additionally, in the 3rd Year of the program, students will have the option to select a sector-specific specialization. The course structure after the sixth semester will be merged with the flagship MBA program of the Institute and students will be required to meet the academic rigor of the MBA program. The curriculum for the first three years includes choice of specializations in third year in Marketing, OB & HRM, IT Systems & Analytics, Finance & Accounting, Operations Supply chain & Decision Sciences.
After completing three years of IPM, the student will be part of MBA programme and will study the MBA curriculum and in the final year of MBA will have the same choice of specializations offered to MBA students.

- A Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in last two years or appearing in current year. The candidate must have passed Standard X/ SSC or equivalent examination two years before the XII exam
- Candidate should have a Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category). Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July in current year can also apply.
- Applicants pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) offered at IIM Jammu, is a 3 years full-time doctoral programme that offers research scholars opportunities for advanced studies and research in different areas of 'Management'. The programme aims to prepare research scholars for careers in teaching and research in management studies, for careers in the academic institutions and in other related disciplines and organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities. The Programme offers its research scholars a unique opportunity to engage in high-quality intra-disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary research. Candidate with post-graduation degree can complete Ph.D. in 3 years time.
Key objectives IIM Jammu PhD programme in management are to provide research scholars with necessary skills to identify and research complex issues in the field of management; to contribute to the creation, transmission and application of knowledge in the field of management; to do research and publications of international standard in inter-disciplinary management areas that will add value to the society and to the body of knowledge; to meet the teaching and research manpower needs of academia and industry by producing highly skilled individuals with exceptional analytical ability and trained in conducting specialized research.
IIM Jammu does not charge any fees for its full time PhD programme from the Research Scholars. On the other hand the PhD students are provided scholarships, fellowships, financial assistance. The fellowship covers all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) and living expenses (comprising boarding and lodging). In addition, research students are given scholarship and additional financial support.
A research scholar will be entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000 per month (after commencement of the Programme). Additional allowances like Contingency Allowance of Rs. 40,000 per year will also be paid. For purchase of Laptop, an amount of Rs. 50,000 one-time Allowance will be awarded. To attend International and National Conferences, the scholar will get up to Rs. 2,00,000 during the Ph.D. program after successfully clearing the comprehensive exam
- Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have qualified GATE, GRE, GMAT, or NET/JRF (UGC/CSIR) examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. Scores of any of these examinations, including CAT taken during the last three years should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form. Admission to the program is open to overseas candidates, including NRIs and foreign nationals.
- Candidates who have already had two-year full-time MBA/PGP completed in the last ten years from IIMs with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 are exempted from the test score and can apply directly.
- The candidates short-listed on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations will be called to IIM Jammu for a personal interview for final selection
- The respective area will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI on the basis of short-listed merit list prepared for each category and specialization
- The shortlisted candidate has to appear for a personal interview at IIM Jammu in front of the selection panel. The selection panel will assess the suitability of the candidates for research work based on the portfolio of the candidate.
- The committee will look into a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments, research interest etc.

IIM Jammu started the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program from Academic Year 2020- 21. Ph.D. is a 3 year full-time residential program that offers opportunities to scholars for advanced studies and research in different areas of ‘management.’ After completion of all requirements of the Program, the scholar is awarded the “Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)” degree by IIM Jammu.
PhD Program at IIM Jammu aims at preparing the doctoral scholars for careers in teaching, research and consulting in management and related disciplines, and for careers in other organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities. The areas of specialization, available in IIM Jammu PhD programme are Business Communication, Business Policy, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Economics & Business Environment, Finance and Accounting, IT Systems & Analytics, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management
The Ph.D. program at IIM Jammu has four components - Mandatory Course Work, Comprehensive Examination, Thesis Proposal Formulation and Research, Thesis Submission and Defence.
Research scholars will be encouraged to complete the Doctoral Program within three years that includes one year of rigorous course work to develops basic skills for analysing managerial problems. Research scholars shall take MBA level courses and advanced Doctoral level courses in the Area of specialization. The thesis work is aimed at providing an opportunity to make an original contribution to an area of management or one of its source disciplines.
The scholar is expected to complete the Program in three years. Under special circumstances, an extension may be granted to the scholar with Fellowship up to four years on the recommendation of TAC. In any case, the entire Program should finish within five years.

MBA- Hospital Administration and Health Care Management
IIM Jammu offers 2 year full time MBA in Hospital Administration & Health Care Management. The courses on MBA HA & HM Management are offered in collaboration of AIIMS Jammu and IIT Jammu. While AIIMS Jammu will offer courses on Hospital Administration and Health Care, IIT Jammu will offer courses Technology and IIM Jammu will offer courses on Management. The program offers a unique advantage of learning the basics of management and operations from Indian Institute of Management Jammu, technological aspects from Indian Institute of Technology Jammu and gain subsequent practical, hands-on experience in management of hospitals and health care services at AIIMS Jammu under the guidance and supervision of hospital administrators. The program is a two-year full-time residential program with the first year having core courses and second year elective courses.

The two years of the MBA (HA & HM) program is divided into six terms, each year consisting of three terms. The first year has core courses and a Summer Internship Program. The second year has elective courses and two Course of Independent Study. The Program structure of MBA (HA & HM) entails every student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3.0 credits from the 8-10-week long ‘Summer Internship Program (SIP)’ at the end of Term III with a company or an organization from healthcare industry; 6.0 credits from two ‘Course of Independent Study (CIS)’ in the second year: one in a hospital and the other in a healthcare organization; 42.0 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year.
Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the second year) by paying the requisite additional fees; International Student Exchange Program: Merit Based in the second year and National and International Live Projects. Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA (HA & HM) program. Every student need to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course. Summer Internship Project of 8 to 10 weeks with a company or an organization from healthcare industry must be completed. It has 3.0 credit units assigned to it.
A student must take 42.0 credits from elective courses offered during the second year and 6.0 credits from two Course of Independent Study (CIS). Students need to take 14 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3.0 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. Two CIS - one in Term IV with a hospital and the other in Term V with a healthcare organization should be completed. Each CIS has 3.0 credit units assigned to it. International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is also offered on Merit Basis
Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Jammu PGP (MBA) and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Jammu admission is submitted. At this stage, you do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Jammu Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Jammu as well as IIM CAP website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password. You may need to register at IIM Jammu website to reconfirm your interest for IIM Jammu admission.
- IIM Jammu 2 years full time MBA Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidate should appear in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to be considered for shortlisting.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)at IIM Jammu is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. Each year consists of three trimesters, with 8 weeks of summer internship.
The objectives of two year Post-Graduate Programme are to enable students to understand the socio-economic, technological, ecological and political environment of India and the globe; to equip students with required conceptual and interpersonal skills for managerial decision making in structured/unstructured environments; to inculcate positive thinking and problem solving skills to demonstrate leadership & team building in cross-cultural environment; to develop ability to take risk and be entrepreneurial; to develop socially responsible and ethical business leadership capabilities who can perform without compromising integrity, honesty and fairness.

The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. Participants complete 21 credits of core courses in two years. One course credit is equivalent to 100 hours of study including 30 hours of class interaction. Indian Institute of Management Nagpur has started the Doctoral Programme from the academic year 2021-22. The objective of the programme is to seek, develop, and foster contextually relevant and socially conscious academicians and researchers seeking thought leadership in management fields.

IIM Nagpur launched the PhD programme to seek, develop, and foster contextually relevant and socially conscious academicians and researchers seeking thought leadership in management fields. Afterward, participants undertake the thesis work for the remaining duration under the supervision of an advisory committee. The two-year full-time, residential, Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme, popularly known as Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is the flagship programme of IIM Nagpur. The IIM Nagpur curriculum is benchmarked against the best in the world to ensure that excellent management education is imparted based on vibrant pedagogic practices while maintaining contemporary relevance in the Indian scenario. A combination of lectures, classroom discussions, case studies, individual and group projects, term papers, role plays, business games are included to deliver and evaluate the courses.
MBA program includes 3 terms in a year. The courses comprise Professional Management Practice including Rural immersion and interaction with Industry experts as mentors, field immersion and summer internship on completion of the first year. The Field Immersion Module during the 1st year at IIM Nagpur offers an opportunity for MBA students to interact with the industry. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
SJMSoM IIT Bombay offers 4 year full time Doctoral Programme PhD in Management. With sound research base and extensive infrastructural facilities available, SJMSoM IIT Bombay offers PhD programmes in strategic management, technology management, financial management and operations management. The broad objectives of the PhD programme are not only to keep pace with expanding frontiers of knowledge but also to provide research training relevant to the present social and economic objectives of the country.
The IIT Bombay PhD programme in Management prepares the students for careers in teaching and research. The academic programme leading to the PhD degree is broad-based and involves a minimum course credit requirement and research thesis. The institute also encourages research in interdisciplinary areas through a system of joint supervision and interdisciplinary group activities. The presence of a strong research oriented faculty provides excellent opportunities for such programme. The Institute undertakes sponsored research and development projects from the industrial and other organizations in the public as well as private sector.
Scholarship
A candidate, selected for the full time Ph.D. Programme, at SJMSoM IIT Bombay will be eligible for the financial support. The assistantship is payable for a maximum duration of 5 years or up to the thesis submission, whichever is earlier.
No programme fee is charged from the full time PhD candidates. They will be offered hostel accommodation at the campus
The monthly rate of Teaching Assistantship is Rs. 31,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 35,000/ for the remaining period.
For Research Associates, the monthly rate of assistantship is Rs. 35,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 39,000/ for the remaining period.
