The two-year full-time, residential, Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme, popularly known as Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is the flagship programme of IIM Nagpur. The programme aims to create leaders, managers and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical meticulousness ingrained in a sound understanding of the socio-economic context. The programme facilitates students to take on challenges in achieving professional excellence and self- development.
The MBA has been designed with a view to prepare the students for leadership roles. It grooms the students into competent professionals with an orientation towards excellence and high ethical standards, irrespective of the sector they choose to work in – be it business, not-for-profit, government-related or social change.
A significant feature of IIM Nagpur MBA program is the Field Immersion Module which helps the students to experience real-life problems and come up with practical solutions for them. The students at IIMN are encouraged to explore their entrepreneurial ambitions
IIM Nagpur MBA has unique industry connect programme of bringing ‘corporate into classrooms’ to produce relevant talent for corporate world. The IIM Nagpur curriculum is benchmarked against the best in the world to ensure that excellent management education is imparted based on vibrant pedagogic practices while maintaining contemporary relevance in the Indian scenario. Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)
The two-year Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at IIM Indore is a full-time residential course for graduates from all disciplines who wish to choose a career in management. The PGP Programme at IIM Indore is highly ranked one. With the enactment of “The Indian Institutes of Management Act, 2017” on January 24, 2017, IIM Indore is now empowered with the legal authority to award MBA degrees. The programme is also recognized by the Association of Indian Universities and is considered now an M.B.A. Degree programme.
In the second year of PGP, electives give participants a deeper understanding of different functional areas and enable them to specialize in areas of their choice. The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management at IIM Indore aims to groom participants into competent professional managers with a capacity to learn and adapt to national and international environment. In the first year, students are offered core courses in management. Skill Development Courses including Communication, Leadership, Spreadsheet Modeling, Entrepreneurial Orientation, Innovation and Design Thinking and Sustainability are taught in a workshop-based format
Students visit a company once a week in the first year of the Programme. They are required to carry out a study on various industries and key players in the industry. IIM Indore students participate in a wide range of extra and co-curricular activities which include IRIS (The Annual Management & Cultural Festival) and Utsaha (Rural Marketing Fair). Rural immersion programme is conducted to enable the participants to understand the social context in which organizations work and exist.
In the second year, new curriculum features a large number of domain concentrations which consist of both regular courses taught by industry faculty and workshop courses taught by industry practitioners.
