Admission Process
IMI Delhi PGDM HRM admission can be divided into following stages:
The candidates seeking admission to IMI Delhi PGDM HRM programme must appear in CAT 2025 or XAT 2026 entrance exams.
- Then, candidate should apply separately for IMI Delhi admissions. IMI Delhi application process is open. Apply now. IMI Delhi last date to apply is December 12, 2025.
- Shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Interview process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the IMI application form and their CAT/XAT exam scores.

IMI PGDM HRM program is of two years duration and follows a trimester system. Apart from the six trimesters, IMI PGDM HRM students undertake a compulsory Summer Internship Program (SIP) at the end of the first year.
IMI PGDM HRM curriculum is designed with a holistic approach to Human Resource Management. IMI Delhi PGDM curriculum is distributed among several compulsory and elective courses, and the mandatory Summer Internship Program. The first year covers compulsory courses which cover basics in various functional areas including Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations. Besides these, IMI PGDM HRM curriculum also includes courses like Economics, Quantitative methods and Information Technology. The focus of IMI PGDM HRM curriculum is not only on developing a manager with strong Human Resource Management skills but also to provide a balanced professional based on industry requirements.
A compulsory NGO internship during the second year is also part of the IMI New Delhi HRM program structure. This is a four-week internship which enables students to become aware of the social and economic challenges faced by the deprived sections of the society. On completion of the first year, all students of IMI Delhi HRM program are required to undertake Summer Internship Program of 8 to 10 weeks duration.

Step 1 - Logon of IMI Website & Start Application Process: First step is to logon to IMI official website and start application process. After entering primary details and submitting OTP, the next step is to start filling the application form. This page will continue to be updated on completion of each step. Step 2 - Select IMI Campus: On this page you should choose IMI Delhi campus. If you wish to apply for IMI Kolkata and Bhubaneswar campuses also you need to select them also.
Step 3 - Fill Personal Details: The next step is to fill the source of information.
Step 4 - Fill Contact Details: On this page you need to fill your email id, mobile number permanent and correspondence address. Your e-mail id and mobile number should remain valid through the admission process
Step 5 - Fill Academic Qualifications: On this page you need to fill your educational qualifications from class 10 onwards and entrance exam details like CAT and XAT.
Step 6 - Fill Work Experience: On this page you should fill in your full time work experience earned after graduation.
Step 7 - Make Declaration: You need to fill Applicant name and date and click on the declaration. Without this the form will not be submitted
Step 8 - Make Payment: You need to make payment of IMI application fees for applying to IMI Delhi. Once the fees are submitted, your IMI Delhi Application process is complete. IMI Application fees are Rs. 2250 for an applicant applying to any one of the two-Year Program(s) of IMI Delhi or IMI Delhi and IMI Kolkata and/or IMI Bhubaneswar.
IMI Delhi PGDM HRM Admission eligibility criteria requirements are:
- Applicant must hold a minimum 3 years’ bachelor's degree recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
- Apart from a recognized graduate degree, another key point in IMI Delhi eligibility criteria is that the candidate should appear in CAT/XAT or GMAT (Taken during last three years) and must score the required cut off
- Candidates with Foreign Nationality are also eligible, based on their GMAT scores, provided the score is not more than three years old.
During IMI Delhi Selection Process, applicants are evaluated based on valid CAT/ XAT/GMAT scores, past academic performance, work experience and performance in the Video Assessment and personal interview. The selection process builds in a criterion that facilitates evaluating each applicant on:
A) Academic Abilities: Candidates with consistent academic background
B) Standardized Test Scores: Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are taken into consideration in the overall assessment
C) Video Interview and Personal Interview: The video Assessment before the final PI will test a candidate for their thought process and communication skills. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates from this round will go to the final PI process which aims to determine the suitability of the candidate for the programme. During the interview round, candidates are assessed on a number of parameters including general and business awareness, clarity of goals, attitude, people skills, communication skills, personal and extra-curricular/professional initiatives, etc.
