BIMTECH to organize faculty development program

The one-day program, Making Magic of Teaching, will be conducted by two experienced faculty members: Dr Sharad Sarin, Professor of Marketing at XLRI, Jamshedpur, and Dr Mukesh Chaturvedi, Professor of Marketing at BIMTECH.

IIM Indore issues final calls to 650 candidates

Prof Neeraj Dwivedi, Chairman of Admissions at IIM Indore told MBAUniverse.com, We have announced the list of 650 students against 180 seats. Explaining the large number of candidates who have been offered admissions, he explained, We issue list of more students because many of them have option from other IIMs.

Commenting on the fee submission schedule, he said, Students have to submit their fees before May 14.

IIM B admission list names 330 candidates, includes extra 90 to cover overlapping offers

According to IIM-B, 330 candidates have been issued admission letters against the 240 seats currently available for PGP 2007-09 at IIM Bangalore. This includes 36 seats in the SC category, 18 seats in the ST category and 7 seats in the PWD categories.

The IIM-B admission announcement says, The 90 excess offers over available seats are to cover overlapping offers made to some of these candidates by other IIMs. IIM-B will send formal offers to all these 330 candidates.

IIM-A to admit 239 students

IIM-A has released its admission list on Friday evening after it received the directives from Ministry of Human Resource Development (M-HRD). According to IIM-A, it has announced admission offers for 250 seats (same capacity as that for PGP 2006-08 batch) as against 280 indicated at the time of declaring short-list of candidates for the second stage of admission process.

IIMs get a green signal, may announce admission list today
